I purchased this to heat my garage while working in it and it heats fast works great it was the most inexpensive units I added wheels to move it around appears to use a variety of fuels diesel being the most economical for me, very little smell it isn't meant for a sealed enclosed space you need ventilation for carbon monoxide so I also purchased some CO2 testers for my garage and adjoining rooms also on Amazon and zero problems and zero CO2 concerns with my garage door cracked a fee inches heats comfortably and goes on off with thermostat...it is loud but so is all the power equipment so no big deal on my end ... show more

This heater heats up a 4 bay garage without any problems, it was also delivered quickly due to being in a time crunch and previous heater quite working. Also a great price for what you get and love that it has a thermostat on it.

While I only needed it for barely half an hour this past winter it worked perfect. For the amazing price this was it isn't worth messing with my old ones that always shut off for one issue or another. Nice to have a thermostat too so I'm not stuck under a truck while it's getting overly warm.

Heater works well heats nice no problems just make sure your fuel pressure is set correctly when first running mine was at 5psi supposed to be at 3.2psi reset it and it was great

Works very good a pumping out large amounts of HEAT FAST! Built well out of quality parts that appear will last some years to come. Seamless transition from kerosene to road diesel and back again. No smoking, sputtering or flames shooting while you try to adjust for different fuels. This heater just seems to know what you put in it, and burns it without complaint. The thermostat is a usefull feature that saves expensive fuel. I would buy again and again and recommend this little guy over dozens of larger more expensive heaters any day of the week. ... show more

Great heater and it arrived two days early. Filled it up and turned it on and it fired right up. I had to adjust the air down just a little but no big deal. Would buy again. You can't bet it for the money.

    • Very limited tech support for missing parts or non funtioning unit
I purchased this HEAT FAST HF75K forced air heater for my garage for the winter months, the heater works great, but when the item arrived there were pieces missing from the box, just a warning do not call the phone number that is included in the box, it don't work. 3 days later i finally got a hold of US Stoves and the parts department does not even show the parts in their inventory, but 20 minutes later the technician found the said parts and said I would have to pay for the parts if I wanted them. we are talking two 5 mm screws that hold the handle on. They also do not accept an Amazon Receipt. I went to a local hardware store and purchased some screws that would work. The point is I bought a new product and the company that sells it and or manufactures have no clue and will not stand behind their product. In the end I bought 2 screws for .89 cents for the sames screws US Stove were going to charge me $8 to send to me. This puts a bad taste for a new customer of a supposedly long trusted company. Beware. UPDATE....UPDATE: The first of the cold days are here i bought a new heater to use while I worked in the garage, Well it fired up on several different times, I only had it running for a few minutes, that was a few weeks ago, today we had weather in the 20's and i wanted to work out in the garage, the heater fired up the first time beautifully, about 30 minutes in to the burn it cycled, which is supposed to to the temp sent on the thermostat, well, when it was time to kick back in and start the burn again, no fire, not even a sound, all it does now is flash ON and the temp I set it at. I bought a new torpedo heater and it is as worthless as the tech support I called again. The closest authorized service center they have listed in 120 miles away. I had crazy thoughts about ordering one of these online, never again NEVER ... show more
