Omg! Awesome! I purchased these CBR EARRINGS, and they are my very "first" pair of (CBR) Earring's. First of all, they are perfectly made & beautiful! And I received them in 2 day's, I was pleasantly surprised. *Shawn was awesome, couldn't ask for better Customer Service response, when asking a question. I must say, that It's very hard to ever get that kind of help inside a store, sadly enough nowaday's . The amazing thing was since these were my very first pair of CBR'S, i was a little apprehensive of how long/hard it would take to put these kind of earring's on, and I was sooo shocked, I had gotten both earring's on, within the "very first" try. I was amazed! I just looked at the little indentation on the ball, and put them right up to the Ring while looking into the mirror and barely push it in, and wahla! They were on... I had been checking out numerous (CBR) EARRING'S on AMAZON, trying to decide if i should go to the shopping mall or keep searching on Amazon, we'll i ended up choosing; Shawn @ (Kinzie Fashion) /in Hebron Kentucky, and am I glad I did. *And, i'm sure I will be purchasing with (Kinzie Fashion) again in the future. *I had put them on early this morning and I have had them in all day and it's now 9.pm. First off the ring is very cheaply made and bent very easily as I tried to put the bead. They are accurate in size and the appearance is ok but the material is really cheap and bendy. I was highly impressed by these hoops. For the price, I was expecting something not nearly as high a quality as these were. My skin is super sensitive, especially to jewelry. I have a hard time keeping any sort of piercing in for more than a few hours at a time. I will admit that my holes that I stuffed these suckers into wasn't quite large enough, and I should have probably spent a little time stretching them. Do NOT do what I did by sterilizing a large, blunt sewing needle to push through my lower lobe to make the hole bigger (OW!). I am wearing this on my lower lobe and not a cartilage like most people probably would. For the lower lobe, they are a little large on hoop size, but just barely! Even on the first day, including with the torture to my ears, I couldn't even feel these babies in! I haven't taken them out since, and I've had them for quite a long time. No pain, no fuss, most of the time I forget that they are in my ears. The balls are tension held, not screw in, just fyi. I thought that was going to be a problem, and I expressed that concern to the seller. It hasn't been an issue in the slightest. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking at these rings, get them. The seller uses a stock photo. The hoop is as described. The ball is tiny. It is way out of proportion to what is shown in the picture. I do not recommend. They're nearly impossible to refasten. I ordered the 20g 10mm.

I got 18g in both 8mm and 11mm for sleepers/leave-ins for my ear piercings. Surgical steel is the best. 18g is a little thicker than standard ear jewelry (which is 20g) but I prefer it for look and hole sizing. They were not hard to use, though it took a little patience. Per reviews I read up on captive ball insertion online; no problem & no special tools needed, although I can see the potential utility of the ball-holding tool. I intended to get earrings which fit closer to my ear, but it was hard to measure in the mirror. In hindsight, what I probably wanted was two 8mm and two 6mm. On the other hand, I like the look of what I got and I'm quite well satisfied. My teenage kids think it looks cool too, which is kind of a miracle. ... show more
