Noticed a hugee difference in sensitivity, cleanliness, and healing by the next day with these barbells 🙏. Honestly just very cute bars and great material! Was nervous they would break since it’s acrylic or some other lighter material, but it was very durable. They did not snap when screwing on the balls tightly, super flexible material! So far I’ve been wearing them for 4 days straight with 0 issues like pulling or breaking. I would also have to disagree with the disapproving value reviews, receiving a whole extra barbell instead of just an extra ball made the whole purchase really worth it + quality. overall.. you get what you paid for. Please look carefully at what you’re putting on your piercings before you do. I bought these to use while getting an mri, for short term. I was excited to swap them and didn’t pay much attention, but as you can see in the picture one of them had plastic on the bar that was not trimmed off properly before shipping. I needed these as nipple retainers for a surgery I am fixing to have. My previous size was a 1/2" barbell with 4mm balls. I didn't think these would be much bigger. However, they are. They fit fine and will work for the purpose intended, but these are not daily wear compared to standard metal barbells. These would definitely have issues getting caught up on things. I would also worry about the long-term durability of them. They are externally threaded (which I feel should be mentioned in the product description), and the threaded portion is not terribly long or secure. I was struggling with pain and getting bumps on my nipple piercings despite getting them pierced nearly 10 months ago. I have still been wearing the surgical steel barbells they were pierced in and my nipples have been irritated beyond belief. I was skeptical about putting in in these ones as they are acrylic and are supposed to be more irritating then metal barbells. I bought the purple ones and put them in and within a week my piercings are fully healed!!! There is no more pain, bumps or discharge. I would strongly recommend these to anyone with nipple piercings! They are so comfortable, better than the metal barbells my nipples were pierced with, and super cute!! Had an extreme allergic reaction to this jewelry! Within a couple of days of wearing them! I put them in my belly button, Nips and tongue! All areas had an extremely itchy patchy red rash! Tongue had a huge blister at bottom of tongue! If you have sensitive skin like me I suggest you not get these! The rash went away 2 days after removing them!
