I picked this up for an autograph football. It came in and seemed solid enough. Assembly was easy and straightforward. When I put the official size pro football on the stand it was immediately obvious that this thing was way too small. The lid barely fit and actually rested on top of the football. It’s ok for displaying but that’s about all.

ReviewsByMuse This is a nice football case. I have my signed Dick Butkus football in it. However, one of the downsides is that there is no way to actually connect the top to the bottom. So if you try to move it around, and forget, you only grab the top and the bottom is not attached. That is a feature that would give this a higher rating. Other than that, it's a nice display.

I bought this case because it's hard to find these at a decent price. Well, you get what you pay for apparently. First of all, each of the clear pieces arrived with a protective plastic film that must be removed PRIOR to assembly, and man was it a pain to remove. Putting the case together took wayyyyy longer than it should have, as the holes in each of the sides don't quite line up together. The case is held together by screws that look tacky. The final insult came when the football would not fit inside the case, which is kind of a basic requirement! I was able to get the ball in by deflating it. This is one of the worst purchases I have ever made and would not recommend it to anyone. If you are considering this case, don't walk away from it, RUN!

I think this gets the job done and it's a pretty good looking case, especially at this price point. I got this for a Gale Sayers football that I have. At some point I'll likely upgrade it for a wood based one that is more heavy duty, and more expensive, but for all intent and purposes this gets the job done. With the exception of getting the plastic film off of the acrylic sheets, assembly was straight forward, taking about fifteen minutes. Getting the film off was most of the time spent. Recommend that they fold back a corner or something. You can obviously see all of the screw heads which I don't have an issue with, but I wonder if the screw and joint are visible maybe make it look like an awesome desired trait. I think if they had an option with big metal bolt heads, maybe 5/8" diameter, if this would make it look like the baddest football holder around, even if they do nothing to make it more secure or stronger. I think making it look more 'industrial' might make it more desireable for the more harcore football enthusiasts who want to show how bad*** their team is.
