Ok so these are a good size and very pliable, easy to rig, they kinda have a funky smell but that being said the fish didn't mind, as soon as it hit the water, BAM! So your wondering why only 3 stars well i would have given it the full rating except I had on problem I dropped it in my spike it chartreuse garlic dye and it dissentigrated before I could get it out, so again not sure what these are made of but dont dip the in dye or spray them with anything without testing a textural first.

After assembling, these seem to work just as well as my other dice soft plastics. They are more boyant so the weights that are included are necessary to achieve the desired sink rate. These aren't perfect though.... the plastic strands rip if you use too much force. I found the best way to pull the needle through is by threading the strand but don't even out the ends. Leave one side longer than the other. Then pull the needle and as soon as the needle clears the plastic ball, grab the eye of the needle, along with the strand to pull the strand to the desired length. Each strand bundle comes with 40 strands or 200 strands total. There's plenty included for each ball and you'll probably have some left over to add to other soft plastic baits. Taking them out on the water, they work really well. I can get pretty close to the bass and the long strands seems to irritate them. I did get a few bites without hooking it because it bit the strands instead of the ball where I had the hook but I was usually able to cast the dice in the same area and get a bite. I like these overall and they seem to work.

The FONMANG Fuzzy Dice Fishing Lure kit is overall a nice little DIY setup for anyone who enjoys making or customizing soft plastics. It comes with plenty of the lure bodies along with small insert weights to help the bait sink properly. It also includes the little rubber threads/tentacles and the needles needed to push them through the bait body. One suggestion I’d make when using the needles is to leave one side of the rubber thread short before pulling it through. Otherwise, you end up trying to pull the rubber strand back through the plastic, which can be tricky because you don’t want to tear or break them off. Also, don’t pull using the needle itself — grab the rubber strands directly because the needle can potentially cut them. My only real complaint is with the amount of tentacle strands included. While there are five of each lure body color, one of the color combos uses blue and brown strands, and if you want it to look like the bait shown in the product photos, you’ll pretty much use almost all of those strands on a single body. I just wish it came with more of the little tentacles instead of basically enough for one complete bait. That said, the finished baits look good, and I think they’ll definitely catch fish. You can wacky rig them or fish them however you prefer. Overall, not a bad kit at all for DIY lure makers.
