It is good for the intended purpose. However, as with all metal (and hollow) canes, it makes a very audible noise when one walks while using it. It is supportive and does indeed provide support. However, I have used a heavy wood cane for the last 50 plus years since the Army first issued me a cane and I find I prefer wood canes over metal canes. Probably because wood canes feel more supportive and do not "clunk" as metal canes are want to do. But I will keep it and use it when/if needed. Very much worth the price. ... show more

    • Grip for very small hand
The plastic cane tip is very slippery on kitchen floor. Had to replace it with six dollar rubber tip! The handle is almost child sized. I wish i had gotten a better cane for a few more dollars.

Seemed a bit undersized, but did a good job of keeping me on my feet. Breaks into 4 sections held together by a strong elastic cord. It's easy to fold up into a compact package when not needed.

    • Quick to fold and unfold, great value
This is my first-ever cane. I love how quick and easy it is to fold this cane and unfolding is even faster. I used this cane at Disneyland to transfer from wheelchair and loved how quick it was. There is an elastic cord inside, and when you unfold it a quick shake and it usually reassembles itself without other action. I could fold it up and it fit in the mesh pocket on back of ride, which gave me a greater feeling of independence than having to wait for staff to bring to me. I had many compliments on this cane’s nifty quick folding and unfolding. The end is hard and durable and shows no signs of wear after months of use. However it is loud and can be slip on the hardwood floors in my home in placed down on angle. The handle is comfortable and I use to help pull up pants after using restroom as I cannot bend after back surgery. The tip does not seem removable, so am looking for a soft rubber cover to use inside. I have not had slippage outdoors. Regardless, this is a great cane for the price that can fit in a medium-large handbag, and perfect for travel and transfers. For indoor use on slippery floors you may want a different cane or find a tip that fits over. ... show more

Seems solid and folds/unfolds easily. It didn’t come with a strap to hold it together when folded like shown in one of the pictures, but worth the money.
