The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice keyboard that looks and plays like a piano. The weighted keys feel great - if my eyes were shut the feel and sound would make me think I was playing a piano, not a keyboard. Keep in mind, however, that I am a novice keyboard player, but I'm learning. :) This keyboard is large, as the description says, and doesn't come with a stand. So be sure you have space for it. It comes well packed in a large box that does say what it is, so know that if it's a gift. It is easy to open, and took me just a couple of minutes before it was ready to play. I love easy packaging! And for such a large piece there was relatively little styrofoam to dispose of and none of those little balls that stick to everything. Just unwrap, plug in, and it's ready to play. LOVE the fact that the on/off button is a hard push, meaning it stays down when it is on and pops up when you turn it off. I find that so much easier to use and more dependable than other modern electronic buttons. Without any cell phone or any knowledge of the instrument, you can play this. Then, when you are ready to go further, it comes with a pedal, an instruction booklet, and cords to hook it up to a cell phone or table. You can see that there are many things to do once you hook it up - all types of recording, adding rhythms, different sounds - tons. That would be an entirely different review or video to cover. :) I attached an unboxing video just to show how large it is, how it comes packaged with contents visible, and how easy it is to get it unpacked and working in minutes. If you do not have a permanent spot to set this up and keep it out, and plan on putting it away when you are not using it, then this is ideal because it would be super easy to put the 3 pieces of foam back on it, slide it back into the box, and put it safely in a close or under the bed until you play it next. Literally, 2 minutes to put it away and 2 minutes to get it out, so perfect for someone who doesn't have a lot of space to keep a full sized keyboard out all of the time. THE SHORT: The best thing is the weighted keys. They feel so great. I also love the simple "piano" look and that it is playable out of the box taking just minutes to unpack and play. I only see two negatives. First, when it is on there is a slight "air noise", like not quite static, but just a sound that tells you an electronic is on. So you definately want to turn this off when you are not playing. And two, while some features can be activated with the "function" button, it is not intuitive and other features require the app. All in all, I gave it 5 stars because it is exactly what it.

The instructions for using the built in features are all very poorly translated into English. The sound quality is poor. You can press the same key twice in a row and get a completely different tones. The speakers started making a popping noise. The popping is still present in headphones, so it must be a faulty controller board. I went so far as taking out screws to open the keyboard and disconnect the speakers from the control board because the popping made it unbearable to use. I can't hook up external speakers to use it because the popping is still there. The MIDI functionality is the only thing that keeps this item from being completely useless. I've got it plugged into my iPad and the sound comes out okay from that without the popping. I can plug headphones into the iPad and practice Piano without disturbing others. I would not recommend purchasing this item. After I eventually replace it, I'm not even going to donate it. It's simply too much trouble to get it into a state that is even barely usable.

Though the first folding piano I bought was nameless in the item description, I did research on what brand name it came from and I identified it as a Bora BR-01. I found the model name in the instructions manual and the brand in another website. It's sound quality is hampered by those tiny, though eye-catching, speakers. I bought this K-muse folding piano for virtually the same money as the first yet it bears a big improvement over the Bora I bought previously. Portability is sacrificed by the true full-size keys and bigger speakers so the weight is double that of the prior folding piano. But the build quality is much stronger and the folding mechanics are superior thanks to the foldout interlock latch which the previous purchase lacks. For performance the sound quality is superior, a benefit of the bigger speakers. Battery life for both of the folding pianos I purchased have promising results in this regard so far. The ease of use is improved by means of the small high-res display and the rotating knob and the buttons next to it. I think the membrane keypad on the Bora I first bought is a bit noisy and the durability of the buttons is doubtful. The performance on the other piano feels fast and nimble but the touch of my fingers on the keys of this K-muse feels clumsier but that is mainly due to the need to get used to the larger keys. This folding piano still tops my previous purchase for value for money.

The o ly dislike about it was after a couple day of getting it there was a odd noise started like tick…tick….tick and it an annoying noise and called tech support twice and we couldn’t get it fixed so I had to send it back and replace it. Other than that I loved it and can’t wait to get the new one, ordered a different one, ordered the ”Starfavor SP-150W Digital Piano 88 Key” to replace it Little more expensive but it’s got three pedals but I’m thinking of getting the wooden furniture stands for it later, right now I have the double X stand that I bought with the Kmise Piano that will have to do.

I was so excited to get this ! I am loving it ! Only thing I was disappointed the stand did not come with it which clearly stated you will receive the stand with the piano & I didn’t . I called Amazon and they said I could return the piano , I told them no because I didn’t want to wait for it to come again. I payed over $200 plus tax for everything . The lady said all she could do was give me credit back to use for Amazon. Other than that I love the piano. But really wished the stand had come with it .
