  • This is too unreliable to keep
I missed the return window while trying to figure out if I should keep this. I tested it multiple times and the fence line moved a good 10 feet each time. I don't think it's fair to try to train a dog to such a varying boundry.boundary. (Also, the flags are mine - it came with little orange circles on posts to mark the boundry. ... show more

  • Very inconsistent
This collar does not work well, keeps dropping satellites and is very inconsistent making it impossible to train my dog. Help said to set the radius away from anything that would block satellite reception which does no good for me. If you are training your dog in the wide open it may work for you.

  • Will zap your poor confused dog at random.
I live in a flat, open area. On a typical day, the collar picks up over 20 satellites. Still, the boundaries are inconsistent. What happened today, though, means I have to return this device and come up with a different solution. Me and the dog were inside the house--which is well within the 100 meter radius I set for the collar--and it began zapping him. He was an abandoned dog that I took in. I think he suffered some abuse in the past. It has taken a lot of time and patience just to get him to trust me to the point I can put a leash (and/or collar) on him. This malfunctioning device is not helping. I can't trust this device, now. ... show more

  • Works like a CHAMP!
Once you figure out how to work the thing it is GREAT! The shortcoming is the explanation manual is terrible. The people who sell this product need to get with a professional writer and write a better explanation of how to use and set it up. The product is great once you figure it out; but, it took a lot of button pushing and trial and error which was very frustrating. Once I figured it out on my own it was easy and really does the job. The beauty of it is it is transportable, you can take it with you anywhere and setup a perimeter using GPS and keep your pet within an invisible boundary. It is best to tran your dog around your home before you venture out. It only took a few "shocks" for him to learn what the buzzer meant and to head back to safety (his house or you if you are traveling). If you are not around his "home" he will be confused and not know where to go to safety and remain confused. I began by setting his sleeping quarters as the center of his perimeter. He learned heading towards home is safe. If you are out randomly camping or at the beach he won't know which way to head for safety. If you monitor him when he first gets his collar and you hear the buzz you know it is getting ready to shock him so call him immediately so he gets the idea heading to you will save him a shock. The shock goes 1-10. I never set it above 4 and now I have turned shock off. When he hears the buzz he does a quick turn around and heads home. ... show more

  • Worked excellent
I bought this in April 23 and has been excellent until today. The shock part has stopped working. I have done everything I can think of to make it work to no avail. The problem is that for 129.00 it quit working in the 5th month. I bought it from their previous page which now is closed. There is absolutely nothing I can find to help me remedy this. So I am out of luck and my my redbone coonhound is jumping fences like a gazelle. The collar is the only thing that keeps her in. ... show more

  • boundary inconsistent, less than a day battery life
during testing i had 12-18 satellites on the collar. it was very inconsistent on where the boundary line was. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I could see a dog getting very confused. Also, the manual states 25 hour battery life. charge time is 30 mins to 1 hour. I want something more consistent with longer battery life. ... show more
