When purchasing my undermount sink a feature I was looking for was a quiet, non metallic tinging sound. 1-200$ more for a sink with this quality sound insulation. Most sinks are sprayed with an undercoat but this is not sufficient sound proofing. I Purchased these pads. I cut these to fit above the mesh on my lizards tank for more insulation and they helped the temperature jump 10-15 degrees higher! With heat around 85 degrees, they do bend a little which works since my lizard needs to breathe through the top mesh. Pretty good quality foam panels and I would recommend for DIYs :) ... show more
