    • This stand works well
If you are out in the field, this stand will help save your back, you can work on your RC plane while standing up. It is well made and sturdy and stays stable even when supporting a glider with a 2 meter wing in moderate winds. The quality of the aluminum machining and colors are very good.

    • pretty decent
I purchased based on reviews. It's not as hefty as some make it sound. I have a 2.0 meter plane on it now and it supports it fine, but is a bit wobbly. The tubing is not overly rigid so it flexes under weight and I will use with care. It is very convenient and hope it holds up for regular use.

    • Good quality, but…

This is made of high quality material, but on the one I received the two tubes were slightly different inside diameters. Because of this the bracket on one of the feet was not able to slide into the smallest tube. To resolve this I had to machine the bracket down to the size that would fit. After doing this the unit is quite nice. It is a little weak for 60 size nitro planes but i was able to use it carefully for those. Also they didn’t include any assembly instructions so you have to assume which end is the top or bottom. I believe the longer end goes down for better stability but either way the foot bracket would not fit without machining. Last thought…I used some ankle weights to lay across the feet so that the unit could not tip as easy. That really helped. ... show more
