Not a bad transmitter. I was out of the hobby for years and when I came back I wanted to start back cheap. My biggest complaint is the 8 AA requirement. It makes it heavy, unbalanced to hold, and expensive to replace. I converted mine to a 3s lipo very easily and now it's a 5 star transmitter. 4 stars because of batteries issues. I wanted a controller that you can use to control multiple rc cars and it does a great job doing that and it's much better than the controllers that came with the rc cars. I love that it has tons of settings and the battery life also lasts pretty decent i also like the big lcd on it which is pretty bright and shows alot of information and it has great range also.     • Okay remote, go with radiolink instead
It was a fairly standard remote, nothing special at all about it, the range was okay, but it wasn’t good, it also had latency issues but you get what you pay for, I’d suggest going with an rc4gs, it’s worth the difference.
