My 6 year old says this launcher toy discs are more fun than he thought. The gyro gun has the cute cartoony face of a dinosaur and it is manual. This toy uses no batteries but my 6 year old son learned to insert the flying disk, rotate it and launch it without any problems. Unfortunately, the light gyro broke within the first days of use and it only came with one but it still left the other 5 gyro saucers. We are glad that the launched saucers/ disks don't go super far away when launched because our child can play in our small backyard without any problems. The media could not be loaded. The quality could be better. Sounded like there was a tiny broken piece of plastic inside of the dinosaur. The top gets stuck sometimes. I feel that the top doesn’t get stuck if you only crank it 2-3 times. The light up disc doesn’t fly as good as the others. My toddler who will be 3 soon had difficulty cranking it himself. If you have little ones, be prepared to crank it for them. That being said, he does enjoy it a lot. We played with it non stop for a good half hour or so till mom was done playing :) Keeps him busy and running around chasing discs. ... show more

I ORDERED THIS TOY FOR MY LITTLE JACK RUSSELL FIONA. SHE LOVES TO PLAY WITH KIDS TOYS INSTEAD OF DOG TOYS. I REALLY THINK SHE THINKS SHE IS HUMAN. PART OF THE PROBLEM IS THAT SHE PLAYS WITH THE KIDS ALL DAY LONG. AND WHEN THEY PLAY DRESS UP SO DOES FIONA SO I GUESS I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY SHE THINKS SHE IS HUMAN. WELL BACK TO THE REVIEW. SO I USE THESE IN THE BASEMENT WHEN THE WEATHER IS BAD OR OUTSIDE WITH HER. SHE REALLY LOVES THE GYRO THE BEST. This is a well made toy, the pieces are sturdy and seem like they will last. The eyeball shaped top spins well, and lights up. There are five flying pieces, and one of them lights up as well. The dinosaur handle fits a child's hand, and the trigger releases easily. All in all... "WE LOVE IT!"

I have similar discs and launchers and had hoped these would be as much fun for the cats as they are. Sadly these are geared more for humans. They are a heavy plastic which doesn’t work for the cats. They are interested, but then they can’t grab it with their mouths nor use their paws to bat them around. They are good for humans though, just not my cats which is why I ordered them. ... show more

The kids in my class love playing with this one during indoor recess. They love to worst little disc fly in the dish, actually fly very far and get into every thing in my classroom.
