It will keep SOME rocks out, but it's light weight, fit well, doesn't ride up your back and keeps you cool. Not a lot of protection, but the whole point is not crashing, lol. I use it on the really hot days, when full gear is too hot.

This is nothing more extra padding. It doesn’t protect for bmx or mx. not even sure why fly makes it. I also have to question the good reviews. Look at Troy Lees vest and others

    • Durability is great so far.

I used this for pitching slow softball. It reduces the sting if you get hit by a 110 mph ball to the chest. The only thing I dislike, it’s tough to get it off if you’re sweaty. Great product!!!
