For a EUR 39 they are a little roomy. I am an 8.5-9, somewhat wide at the ball of my foot. I added a simple foam insole under the Fly insole and wear them with a thinner wool sock. With the doubled insole, the size is perfect and I have a bit more cushion underfoot for my work hours on concrete floors. The first day I wore these for a long walk on wet forest trails. Easily wiped off mud splatters. Next day wore them for 6 hours of work (retail) on concrete floors. Zero complaints. Have worn them almost daily since I got them! Love love love these boots!

I’m a die hard Dansko girl. Dansko 42 and New Balance 574s 11 are all I wear. To say I was nervous about these is an understatement! But … These boots are perfect. I bought 11 which is 42 and they fit just right. The upper is soft and lined with a cute pattern. “Made in Portugal” They have good support, are wide enough in the toe area and are super cute! Yay, Fly London!

I have tried a few chelsea style ankle boots and been a bit disapointed in fit. I was a bit nervous about this as quite a few reviews noted that the sizing was off for the US. I ordered a size 8.5 (my usual) and the fit was spot on. So comfy. The size on the box was UK 6/EU 39. So if you are buying these from the US, the size listed is US size. I used to wear Blundstones which I loved but sadly they wore out and I couldn't justify the replacement cost. These, while certainly not inexpensive, are good value for cost. The leather is good quality as is the stitching. I love the sole and the wee bit of heel. A bit more stylish than my beloved Blundstones. I am hoping for years of wearing these wonderful boots.

I bought these before going away for the weekend and walked miles in them. So comfortable I couldn’t believe it. In fact, came home and ordered a second pair in black. They’re great with dresses and pants too.

Great quality, beautifully made boot. It's difficult to find size 10.5 and these boots fit well. Most important to me is comfort and with a wide toe box, I find these super comfortable.

I love these boots! Just bought another pair. First pair was diesel color. I bought a 10 they are tight but manageable to wear for 4 hours. New black ones I sized up to 11, and boy oh boy they feel better. I am a plus size girl and I hate the other boots with the big okie straps. I can wear theses with jeans , mini skirts, almost anything. Buy them you will not be sorry.
