Description

This Flowmaster Outlaw Axle-back exhaust system is specifically designed for 2013-2014 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L coupes and convertibles. The system features a pair of race proven Outlaw mufflers for an aggressive exterior sound level with a moderate interior sound level. Features include 2.50-inch connections for an easy fit to the stock mid-pipe then the inlets quickly expand to full 3.00-inch mandrel-bent inlet tubing leading into a pair of Outlaw mufflers for maximum performance. The system is supported from the factory hanger locations for an easy and hassle free installation that can be done at home and is finished off with a pair of large 4.00-inch polished stainless steel tips for that performance look and sound that you've come to expect from Flowmaster.

These are great sounding exhaust . my only wish is that it would bring it's own clamps VS having to remove the factory one on my old exhaust. Easy to install as long as you lift the rear end up on ramps or stands. 13 mm socket to remove the clamps and to remove one of the rubber supports. total time was about 2 hours and very easy to line up. the first time you turn it over you will notice it. it puts a smile on my face everyday i drive it. it dose have a drone sound at 2000 RPM or when driving around 75 to 80 mile per hour, but it is well worth it. My GT sounds like a GT should. thank you for a great deal. P.S. I wish they would package them a little better because I had some skuff marks on the black part of the exhaust. But you won't see it because it under the car. but i know it’s there. ... show more

I had the American Thunder axle-backs on my 2013 Mustang 5.0 and the Flowmaster 10 series before these and they both weren't loud enough. The Outlaws are significantly louder, but they aren't as loud as I thought they would be, I think they are the perfect volume. They are loud when you want them to be and have a nice grumble when just driving normally. There is some drone, but I actually really like the drone (thats why I always go Flowmaster), the drone gives it deep muscle sound. I went on a date last week and the girl was telling me a story and I gave it a little gas (didn't floor it) and the girl stopped mid-sentence. I told her to continue and she just said, "sorry, I just love the way your car sounds!" Similar thing happened this week on a date. If you want an aggressive, muscle sound (without being obnoxious) definitely go with the Outlaws. ... show more

Opened the box and there was a huge bend on metal at the most important part of the pipe, right on the connecting component from axle back to mid pipe. It took some time to bend the metal back because I didn’t want to wait another two weeks to receive my product

Sounds great on my 13 Boss 302. Not as loud as I thought, but still huge improvement over stock. Unboxing, some black paint suffs as always with flowmaster, but great product. 100$ cheaper than any other site/store. About an hr install on jack stands.

Trust me when I tell you the you tube videos don't do these pipes justice! The videos are good but wow when you get these bolted on you will be much more impressed. It took me 40 minutes to install them on my 2014 Ford mustang GT. When I turned the key for the first time I can't even begin to explain the difference. It sounds like a race car now! I have a truck with over 650 hp and this mustang now sounds almost as mean as that truck! I read about some people complaining about drone noise at road speed. I have a convertible and I don't really notice that much of droning. It's definitely louder in the cabin no doubt. If you pass a pedestrian you may want to not crack the gas pedal too hard because they will jump out of their skin from the noise and compression! :) ... show more

Wow love it, unfortunately after only being in for about a month i have already been pull over n got a speeding ticket. He definitely heard me coming at least one mile away they are loud! He even check to see if i had cat deletes and resonators removed. Guessing he wanted to also ticket me for emissions tampering. The drone! Its real its there but only when running at a steady 2000 rpm, unfortunately getting used to it an i actually love the popping it makes literally sounds like a thunderstorm is right near you with all the crackling. My 5.0 is a daily driver wouldn't recommend if you have babies or small kids in the car. Fit was perfect took about 30 to 40 minutes in my garage with air tools what took the longest was taking off the old ones as they take so much space. ... show more
