This is a nice system. Just installed this on a 2013 Ford F150 FX4 crew cab. The fit and finish is very nice. The instructions were decent. Everything went together nicely. The only extra thing that I did was put a bit of weld on each connections to keep things from moving or twisting around. The clamps are very nice. The kit gives you an option for a side or back exit too, which gives you options. The sound is pure heaven of flowmaster exhaust. It's worth the price to have it all. I'll admit I like the sound in general, sounds good outside, etc. However, be aware that there is fairly significant drone from about 1600-1950 rpm. I have actually downshifted to 5th a couple of times at 65mph to get out of that rpm range, and it is actually easier on the ears! Perhaps I'll get used to it, or perhaps I'll experiment with putting the factory resonator back in... NOTE: the only sub-standard pieces were the 1/4" bolts that clamp the shiny exhaust tips to the previous pipe section. These were completely inadequate, and I bent them badly and still didn't have the tips tight (you could easily pull them off the previous pipe section). I drilled out the 1/4" hole in the clamp to 5/16", got stainless 5/16" bolts/nuts/washers and installed. The 5/16" worked much better, but still have to seriously tighten these bolts to get the clamp to stay in place. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the actual exhaust sound, so I think 4 stars. ... show more

Just installed this last night on my 2014 5.0L V8. Install was pretty easy considering I don't have air tools or a lift. Truck sounds like a beast, how an F150 should! I know the sound will lose its novelty in a while. But by then, the muffler should have filled up with carbon deposits. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the system for you. Thrilled with my Flowmaster

Installed this system on my 2010 F-150 5.4L Lariat. It was easy to install and took about an hour and a half. Nice to have the option of rear or side exit. I chose rear. Very happy with the sound and look of the new exhaust system. Deep and throaty, but not too much. Would recommend to anybody. Only downside is that it arrived a few days after the expected delivery date. ... show more

Waste of Money

Bought this system back in September and put it on my 2013 Ford F150.1st thing is it took alot of tweeking to try to get this kit to allign correctly.Got it as close as I could . Still not happy with the final fit.2nd problem is I live in Chicagoland and after a couple of snow falls with salt getting on the pipes it started rusting after a short time.These pipes should not be rusting.I decided to take the kit off and put my stock exhaust back on.If I went the entire winter with this new kit on my truck it would be totally rusted come spring.Not sure if i'm gonna bother putting it back on in the spring.Never gonna buy a Flowmaster again. ... show more

Get real clamps seperately if you must have this exhaust.

Bought and installed in Jan of this year. Everything fit well however i find myself replacing the "straps" that came with the kit with real muffler clamps. Exhaust has been leaking since installed. I even had the truck on a lift in an attempt to tighten the straps. Definetly an item which you are paying for the brand name... Would not purchase again!! ... show more

Great sound but rusted significantly!

Great sound, easy to assemble. About 3 hours from start to finish. The only issue I have experienced is the exhaust rusted quite badly. It looks like it's 10 years old and I've only had it installed for 6 mos. I live in North Carolina and one time of driving with brine on the road destroyed my exhaust. ... show more

Great system just have couple complaints

The 3 inch claps work awesome but the 2.5 inch clamps don't all seem to tighten down right and the left hanger they give you was kinda cheesy. All together the sound won't disappoint really nice signature flowmaster rumble sound.
