The media could not be loaded. Installed on a 2002 extended cab short bed GMC Sierra 2500HD 8.1L. The box was barely holding together when everything arrived, much to my relief, everything was there. Some of the black paint was scratched off, but hardly an issue for me. Directions were simple and clear, I cut the old system off with a sawzall. The new pieces went on like butter, everything lined up and, with just a little elbow grease, got everything where I wanted it. Had no issues with hangers lining up or interference to nearby parts. Install took almost and hour flat and I didn't jack the truck off the ground. ( It sits on 285's which leaves just enough room to wiggle around under there.) Did this in 21 degree weather and in no real hurry. Provides a great sound and isn't loud enough to annoy the neighborhood at idle. I haven't done a highway test yet, but will update the review if I have any issues with resonance. I feel the $400 price is a bit high for what you get in this package, since the cats on these trucks are so far back, you're paying the tailpipe, muffler, and just enough pipe to tie it into the existing system. $350 would have made me feel a lot better.

Installed on my 2000 GMC 2500 6.0 liter. Had to modify a few things because the exhaust was replaced at one point it another. Has a deep tone, highly recommend.

2002 GMC 2500HD 8.1 CCLB. Install takes about an hour. Lots quieter compared to the dynomax cat back I had. The only negative I have is the system doesn’t directly fit a 4 door long box truck.

The fit and quality of the system is great. Installation was fairly smooth. Directions are based off of replacing the stock exhaust. If your exhaust has already been modified you have to disregard the measurements on the instructions and figure out where to cut the factory pipes on your own. I have an 8.1l and the sound is nice. It is a great deal louder than the stock exhaust, but not to an annoying level.

So far, so good. Quick and easy install, about an hour. Still tightening clamps, really need to replace the with a sturdier clamp, had the tailpipe come loose. Great sound, better performance and added 2 mpg per gallon. Time will tell how long it will last, some previous comments claimed the baffles would come loose or had issues with alignment.
