This was a purchase that led to me and my daughter having a fun crafty time for two hours in all. The kit allowed us to make four crown and four bracelets which was enough for around two hours of fun. We loved the high quality of the materials included and the end results were really impressive. I work with kids and this kit was really cute! They got excited to play with them, but seemed to lose interest since they couldn't figure out how to attach the flowers to the crown. They are young, however, and the older girls that I work with had a lot more fun! I recommend these

This set comes with enough supplies to make a total of 4 headbands and 4 bracelets. I do wish it came with a few more, since my 2 daughters can only make enough for themselves and one friend each, to have a headband and bracelet set. Also, I am deducting a star because there are NO instructions, and even though we figured it out on our own and googling, I just feel that it should have included some clear instructions so the kids could manage it on their own. The other thing I should mention is that the wreath is made of wire, as are the flowers, so this might not be safe for very small children. All of that being said, the wreaths are very pretty and my girls love them! The way it works is, you wrap the leaf garland around the wire, all along the length of it. Then you slide the little flowers and berries in the order that you want them, on the wire wreath. They have a loop at the bottom. Then once they are on the wire wreath, you twist them around the wire to secure them in place. Then you can add ribbons on the end for decoration, and twist the back of the wire wreath to make it a circle. The last step would be adding some glitter glue, if you want sparkles…we skipped this step since I figured the glitter would shed everywhere, and the wreathes were pretty enough, all on their own! It was a quick project, that took maybe half an hour to 45 mins total. And only that long, because we had to pick and choose and divide the colors and flowers between the girls, accordingly. In the end, we are super satisfied with the end result. It was a little frustrating without the instructions, but the wreaths are beautiful and each one is different, so they reflect the personality and individuality of the one who made it. My daughters were thrilled with them…they think they look like fairy princesses now, and they can’t wait to gift the 2 extra wreaths and bracelets to their friends. All in all, a fun project that turned out beautifully, for an 11 and 8 year old, on a hot summer day when we were looking for something fun to do indoors. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Great Activity Before Ren Fest
I got this for an upcoming trip to the renaissance festival. Not only is it a fun group activity to help us all get excited for the festival, but it also gives us a cute costume piece to wear. It’s a great activity for mothers and daughters to do together or maybe a group of girls having a slumber party or birthday. This can be made by almost any age and is super easy to do. Just pick your bud headband or bracelet. Tie it off at your preferred size. Then decorate it however you want. It’s very customizable to taste and size. Everything attaches with little wires which are easy to tie off. The flowers, though clearly fake, are super cute and pretty. There are several colors to pick from, though you are stuck with specific bud colors on your headband. If anything feels loose or you just want some extra sparkle, they even include a little tube of glitter glue to spruce it up. With simple instructions and a fabulous result, I can’t help but call this one a winner. We had fun making the headbands and looked fabulous wearing them. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun craft to do with their daughters. ... show more

I can’t say enough about how great this kit is, I recommend it to everyone who has girls, or anyone needing ideas for a kid’s birthday gift! The directions are super simple to follow! I also love that you get so many different pieces with this kit, because it makes for infinite combinations to choose from! The flower crowns themselves, once put together, are extremely sturdy. This kit was really fun! I used it with my 12yo son and we were each able to create a flower crown within just a few minutes. The long bud branches that form the base of the flower crown are big enough to fit an adult head (my head is huge and it still fit on me with a little room to spare) and can be either cut or twisted together for use on a smaller adult or child. The set comes well packaged with clear, concise instructions, 4 small bud branches (for bracelets) and 4 large ones (for flower crowns), leaf garlands to interweave with the branches, 2 different sizes of flowers in a range of colors, berry clusters, ribbons, and glitter glue. My son and I didn't end up feeling like we needed the glue but I'm sure it would be helpful for more intricate crowns or bracelets (we kept ours fairly simple). For the price, this is a great buy if you want a quick craft activity, a way to spice up a costume, or just something to do with your hands. I'll definitely use it again and I think it would also make a great gift. ... show more
