This Flow master Outlaw axle-back exhaust system is specifically designed for 2015-2019 Ford Mustang coupes or convertibles with 2. 3L Eco boost or 3. 7L engines. These systems feature race proven Outlaw mufflers for a very aggressive exterior sound level with a moderate interior sound level. Features include 2. 25-inch connections for an easy fit to the stock mid pipe then the inlets quickly expand to full 3. 00-inch mandrel-bent inlet tubing leading into a pair of the race proven Outlaw mufflers for maximum performance and sound. The system is supported from the factory hanger locations for an easy and hassle free installation that can be done at home and is finished off with large 4. 00-inch highly polished stainless steel tips for that performance look and sound that you've come to expect from Flow master.

As for shipping, it came earlier than expected. Installation was a breeze. It took me roughly 30 minutes to install. I only did Axle-Back so I could see how it sounded. I really didnt wanna sound like a import with that horrible fart can sound. I was looking for a deep sound, something you would expect from a mustang. My personal opinion, this is as close as you get with a 4 banger. I'm very happy with the craftsmanship, Installation process and sound. The media could not be loaded. Sounds great, coupled it with an X pipe with one end capped off. Sounds even better than the video. If you have a V6 mustang and looking for sound go with these flow masters. Just make sure you also delete resonators and go with a Y or X mid pipe.

The media could not be loaded. Bros...This thing is a monster. Beautiful deep sound. I got it in my v6 manual Mustang coupled with a Roush H-pipe. There is some drone but I love it. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. There is a part of me that wants to see how it sounds with the stock resonator but...maybe some day..For now I'm in love. ... show more

Easy to install, well packaged and sounds perfect. This was for my sons car. I only used Flowmasters on my 1,200 HP Chevelle, but I did not know how they would sound on this Ecoboost 4 cylinder. To my surprise they sound amazing! Well worth it and great quality.

    • If you want the rumble this is for you!
I ordered these for my wife’s 2016 3.7 Mustang, they came with clear instructions and were fairly easy to install. I used a set of oil change ramps to gain clearance and it worked fine but would be easier if you have access to a lift. A reciprocating saw with a new metal cutting blade goes through the stock pipe with ease, just make sure to use a file to clean up the rough edges before installing the new pipes. I’m not a skilled mechanic and I had them on in just over an hour. The sound is better than I expected, I didn’t know you could get that kind of sound out of a V6! It is a little loud inside upon acceleration, but that’s what you want from a Mustang and Flowmaster! ... show more

Made my 2020 Ecoboost way more fun and louder, Planning to add a Y- pipe and catless downpipe in the future, so this was the best axle-back I have ever heard for the EcoBoost!!!!!
