I had a brown pair of these I’d bought in-store. I wanted a black pair, and these boots, what can I say? As SOON as I put them on my feet I KNEW they were the ones. For the price, you’d be HARD PRESSED to find a better quality boot in terms of craftsmanship, quality, and style. The side zipper is AMAZING. Stylish comfort, good value! My 11.5e higher arch foot fits into this boot, side zip is key! First purchase of this style footwear, so far excellent! Previous orders of other boots I could not climb into or they would bind across top of my arch after entry! Fabric lining does not overheat my feet, perhaps warmer weather might change my opinion? I still wear the first pair for work. The sole is almost gone after about a year of regular wear. I believe the new pairs sole is of a different composite. I will see how the wear goes after a few more months. I mainly wear them to church and family functions so they will have low mileage for now. They are super comfortable. Break in well. I make sure to condition them weekly after multiple uses. This will help with waterproofing. Nice and light weight. Size is typical. Compared to a lot of boots at this price point, one of the best. Great value. I’ll include a pic of my old pair after over a year of constant wear in the tech industry. Up and down stairs and ladders. Drywall dust, kicking things into place. The occasional dirt trail walk. I could have these re-soled and after cleaning the leather, they would look new again. I do have different laces and and insole. These are the lightest, most comfortable work style boot I've ever had on my feet. It's like my feet are wrapped in cocoons. Workmanship on the boots seems well done and for the price I couldn't be happier. Fit is true to size. I ordered a 2nd pair the day after I received my first pair.

I thought these boots would be okay, not great, especially given the price. I was pleasantly surprised! I bought these to wear occasionally, but have started wearing them more regularly. They fit great, have good padding on the sole, and were comfortable right out of the box. I had a pair of cap toe chukkas for years, I loved them, they finally wore out. I think I might like these more. Would definitely recommend these! I’ve actually thought about buying another pair to replace the aging boots I wear for motorcycle riding.
