Some time ago I got a pricy orthopedic bed for my ailing senior dog, the dog passed away and two months ago I brought home a rescue puppy who took over the bed and loved it. She was taught that was her “place”. So pups being pups she eventually tore the cover. I was reluctant to pay the price for a replacement cover since you can buy a pretty nice bed for the cost of this cover. She missed the bed so I broke down and paid the price. The upshot is that this is a nice cover that will last awhile. It doesn’t fit the bed perfectly since it’s a universal cover but it does fit and will give me a bit more mileage on the existing bed. The great advantage of this is that it is so easy to take off and put on, on a slightly smaller bed. The bed is heavy and the tight-fitting cover it came with is a struggle. I bought a second one of these with the waterproof lining and we are all very happy with it.
