Great wading net
Color: Floating Fishing Net-Blue&Black-39"
I received only one net then called Amazon to let them know and they sent me another, as the description states. I bought this net specifically for wade fishing and it works as it's supposed to. No issues with it as of yet. I was able to land a 20 in speckled trout this weekend so I'd say it works fine. I will also be using it on my kayak! Great buy! ... show more

No lost fishing time untangling lures.
The rubber netting is so much better for the fish and your lures come right off when the fish tangle them up. Durable and very lightweight.

Cheap and flimsy, but good enough for small fish
Color: Floating Fishing Net-Blue&Black-39"
Net material is very thin and hardly rubber coated. Net frame is flimsy and seemingly not very sturdy. Highly recommend only using if you will not be extending it, as sturdiness drastically decrease when you extend. I’ve only netted a few fish with it and so far no major problems, but I don’t expect it to last very long. Good for catching dinks but not much else ... show more

Good size for kayak
Color: Floating Fishing Net-Blue&Black-39"
Review Image by Dude Dad
I got this net for inshore kayak fishing in the southeast US targeting red drum, trout, and flounder. It's a great size for a kayak. When collapsed it's easy to use with one hand, and the ability to extend gives you some versatility. The net opening mechanism can be flipped and locked with a flip of the wrist. Coated netting is nice to protect the fish and makes cleaning easier. It's very light which is again great for a kayak. I landed a 24" red no problem with it. Looking forward to landing many more. ... show more

Nice and light little net.
Color: Floating Fishing Net-Blue&Black-39"
Review of Telescoping Fishing Nets Lightweight Floating Fish Net (40in) I recently purchased the Telescoping Fishing Net with a 40-inch reach, and I must say, this product exceeded my expectations in many ways. Right off the bat, the lightweight design is a standout feature. It makes handling the net during fishing trips a breeze, allowing for long hours of use without straining your arms. Despite its lightness, the net exhibits impressive toughness, making it suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fishing environments. One of the key design aspects I appreciated is the rubber coating on the netting. Not only does this provide added durability, but it also protects the fish while you handle them. The rubberized material reduces fish slime loss and minimizes harm, which is especially important for catch-and-release fishing practices. This thoughtful design reflects a commitment to sustainability and conservation—something every angler can appreciate. The telescoping capability is another fantastic feature. It allows you to easily adjust the net's length, making it convenient for reaching fish that are just out of arm's reach. The locking mechanism is sturdy and secure, giving me confidence that the net won't collapse unexpectedly during use. Additionally, the non-slip grip handle is well-designed, ensuring comfort and stability as you maneuver the net. I also love the fact that it's foldable, making it easy to pack and transport. Whether I'm heading to a local pond or a more adventurous fishing spot, this net fits perfectly in my gear. Overall, this Telescoping Fishing Net is a fantastic investment for any angler, beginner or seasoned. With its lightweight design, durability, and thoughtful features, I would definitely buy this net again and recommend it to fellow fishing enthusiasts. It truly enhances the fishing experience, making each landing feel effortless and satisfying. If you're in the market for a reliable and high-quality fishing net, look no further! ... show more

Nice value telescopic net
Color: Floating Fishing Net-Blue&Black-39"
This is a nice net which I plan to use on my dinghy for trout fishing on the fly. I have other hand nets for when I’m wading but needed one with a little bit longer handle for the boat. I like that the netting is rubberized with small holes as I think this is more humane to fish, all of which I plan to release. The net is foldable for ease of carrying and made ready for use with a simple click into place. The handle is telescopic and there is a knack to using this feature which once you know it, will avoid some frustration I encountered: The secret is to unscrew the retaining sleeve only until the pole of the handle is able to slide, then adjust length as desired. Finally screw until tight so that the desired length is retained. At first, I made the mistake of unscrewing too much and the handle separated. A slight design fault but one you can avoid bumping into with knowledge. The additional extension of the handle is not a huge amount but it’s adequate for what i need and indeed adequate for this size of net. The net itself has a clip built in to it for fastening to your belt or a bag or waders or however you intend to carry it while fishing, and alternatively has a short lanyard and small carabiner on the end of the handle, useful for clipping to a backpack etc All in all a nice net for the price once you know how to use it effectively. I hope you found this information helpful 👇 ... show more
