This took awhile to install only because of my faulty measuring! I put the shelves in a recessed doorway that had been drywalled. The shelves fit perfectly, but I was off on the first installation and had to remove the anchors, patch the holes (easy to do), re-center, re-drill, and finally hang! Once I had the correct center point, it took me about 25 minutes to install both shelves. I did go to the hardware store and purchase zinc screw in anchors ($39!!), but was able to install these without stripping the screw holes. I love the simplicity of design and how light weight they are but how sturdy. I found it easiest to put in the end anchors first, and screw the bracket on with just these two brackets, put the shelf on to make sure the posts were aligned with the shelf holes, then take off the shelf, take off the bracket and install the other anchors. A few extra steps, but since my measuring skills are so poor and the holes in the brackets are oval shape, I was afraid that if I did it the way the directions say to do, my shelf wouldn't fit onto the bracket. LOVE the look - they are perfect for my little art gallery!

These came fast and without any damage or issues. Came with extra hardware as well. SUPER easy to install as they came with stickers to place on the wall to drill holes and place brackets in perfect position. I put them into drywall with no studs and they are impressively sturdy. I was nervous since one of my cats decided to jump on it and it didn't budge. The drywall anchors held up without issue. They are smooth and easy to dust and for the price, you can't really beat the value you're getting. They are a great size and the thickness makes them very decorative looking and perfect for what I needed (nice shelves for displaying collectibles). If I need more, I will definitely be ordering these.

The shelf screw into the wall and it came with enough hardware, screws etc. They’re sturdy, they don’t wobble and are perfect for what we needed them for (hats). The color matches the other black in the house.

The reason I didn’t rate 5 is the drywall anchors are HUGE. I really don’t want to drill 12 big holes for only 3 small shelves. I ended up going to home depot to get other anchors for these. It was saggy at the beginning but I realized that I wasn’t tighten them enough. Drywall anchors are recommended to avoid saggy. They’re staying up now tho, really like it

I purchased these to provide some visual interest on the bare wall behind me while in video conferences. I was initially worried when the box arrived and was very slightly crushed, but on inspection found the shelves were completely undamaged. The included visual instruction guide was a nice touch. I saw other reviews that mentioned stickers to help with drilling the holes. I didn't see any stickers in my package. Installation was mostly a breeze. the hardest part was holding up the anchor and level at the same time to position and level it and then marking the holes. The only way to simplify that would be to have an extra hand. In the end, the shelves look great and I love them. Very happy with my purchase!

These shelves are easy to install but do kind of lean with any weight on them. We plan to keep them just because it isn't bad, but we have started to notice they do lean slightly.

i'd consider myself someone who is relatively handy. i generally don't have an issue with projects that require the use of powertools, installing anchors included. however, the anchors provided are absolutely abysmal. instructions say to use a screw driver to drive the anchors in to avoid stripping. i say to heck with that and use a drill instead. the anchor strips. fair enough - i didn't follow the directions, that's on me. next one I use a screwdriver. the anchor again strips. and then the next. and the next. i have to alternate between the drill and the screwdriver to find traction all the way down into the anchor - i'm too far in now to call in quits, but who knows how i'll remove the anchors once i leave my rental. there is nothing to grab onto to remove them, so renters beware. i continue installing, thinking the next anchor will be better, but alas, it is not. they are all god awful. just use your own anchors. i've installed one shelf, took a week break to mentally prepare, and started the second shelf. two anchors in, two anchors sticking out of my wall. all anchors are stripped beyond recompense so i have no idea how i can finish the job without ripping apart my walls to replace the anchors. godspeed to ye who partake
