This is a really nice net and the rubber does not get tangled up in your treble hooks like the mesh does. Also better for the fish they say. I knew the dimensions so this is not a knock on the company or the net but I wish it was just a little deeper. I fear a fish could still jump out. It hasn't happened but I could see it happening. The upside is that it is easier to store and less to get tangled in on the boat. I love it and the extending handle makes storing it easy as well. I keep it retracted in a rod holder on my gheenoe and then when I get to the fishing area I extend it and keep it in the same rod holder so it's ready to go if...I mean when...I catch a fish. LOL! Seems very sturdy and I expect it to last a long time.

Love the portability of the net along with the full-sized opening rather than the triangular opening of my folding net. I’ve found this net to be extremely sturdy and well made. No wobble or unsteadiness even when fully extended. The silicone net is pretty amazing. Obviously easy to clean since practically nothing sticks to silicone. Very soft so definitely minimizes any potential damage to fish that you plan on releasing. The net is good and deep for the size. I don’t know about the other reviews saying it’s too small for anything larger than panfish. I pulled in a couple of 18” inch flounder and a mess of puppy drum with no problems at all. All in all, great value for a well made net so five stars from me!

This net looks to be well made and is a nice intermediate size between the small trout nets and big landing nets. Big enough to handle most of the fish I'm going after -- trout, small mouth, and panfish in freshwater, and porgy, sea trout, and sea bass in salt. It will be too small for a big small mouth bass, though, and definitely if you're targeting largemouth or striped bass I'd recommend a bigger net. I like the long handle for kayak fishing, and I like that it folds down to not catch as much wind when not in use. The net material is soft silicone which should be safe for delicate fish, and the aluminum stock feels plenty strong.

This'll be the first time I'll be using a silicon fish net; the net is soft and pliable and easy to keep clean. The net holes are as big as a quarter, so it's not a minnow net (when I need minnows I'll just pin on some small meshed net or tulle). The smallest fish we have here in Texas are Bluefin and Crappy and this net will do fine...of course it's going to work fine for larger fish such as Catfish and Bass. The frame and telescoping pole are lightweight and durable. The description says it's made for easy catch and release.....and I can see that in the design. I'll be catching and releasing them straight into my frying pan, ty. Lol Good quality net, and good value.

A good fishing net. The handle and rim are a strong metal, no wobbling even with weight in the net. The handle expands with a push-button and stays in position once set. The net is a stretchy but strong silicone. It’s a good size, and big enough to handle awkward shapes and sizes, as well as being strong enough to hold lots of weight. Haven’t tested out on the lake but it passed manual testing very well.

I use this for crappie/panfish. It works well and has the newer rubber style net that doesn’t tangle like the old ones. Nice handle and it is well made.
