We bought these for my son when he was 12 months old and he used them for about 2 months. He was an intentional pouch squeezer, so these prevented him from squeezing! He sucked the pouch just fine and if he needed help getting the extra product up from the bottom of the pouch, we would just reach in the bottom and squeeze ourselves. this will work to keep your child from squeezing their snack pouch all over themselves and the floor. It holds the pouches very securely, and gives easy access to the spout on top for eating. however We have found that this makes it much harder to finish a pouch. as the lung power required to fully empty a pouch cannot be reached by our toddler. She ends up only eating half a pouch and abandoning it. We end up having to push our fingers inside the holder and force the food up inside the pouch. it is annoying and makes pouch eating a chore. If I have to squeeze a pouch I might as well simply hold my child and feed it directly to them, it's faster and I can guarantee no spills. This item is a good Idea for a car trip, but if you are at home, just feed them at a table without the "flipping holder". ... show more

I have an 18 month old and he loves these. He eats from his food pouches just as easily as without this holder but doesn't have the problem of accidentally squeezing food everywhere. I've put them through the dishwasher several times and they look new. I feed him about three different brands of food pouches and they all fit. I love these food pouch/juice holders. They're simple for my little one hold without making s mess of their food pouches. So far, they've worked with every brand we've tried - Happy Baby Organic, Serenity Organic, Go-Go Squeeze, and Plum Organic. They've saved us many stains. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t sure how this would work with my toddler because she likes to take apart everything. At first she took the pouch out of the container and made a mess. So we stopped using it for a while and I just fed her the pouch. I tried it again recently and she kept it in the whole time! It gives her independence to be able to hold it herself, and I like knowing she can’t squeeze it so easily ... show more
