This bed has been a bit of a headache. If I wouldn’t have hired a professional to put it together I’m sure it would have easily been a 2 or 3. The bed had a couple of issues. First they sent an incorrect part. I requested a replacement. They were kind to send another box with the piece inside but couldn’t just send the one singular correct part (bad for business and wasteful if you ask me) the box hasn’t arrived it will take 5 to 7 business days which really put me and the 3 children back. Thankfully the professional I hired rebuilt the part correctly and came back 2 days to finish. In all it took him about 4-5 hours alone. It’s a beautiful great bed. But the technicality is not so great. It wobbles just a bit but is still very sturdy. If you are looking to get this bed please for your sake hire a handyman ... show more

Not only were the instructions wrong, the screws weren't accurate. There werent enough slats for the mattresses to sit on and the first time one of my kids sat on it one broke because it had to be spaced out so far. After it's together it's sturdy. But for this kind of money it should have better instructions and a proper about of slats. Only 7 each for the twins and there were more for the full on top. Just be prepared to need to spend a few more dollars to make it safe for your kids. ... show more

There were some parts that were dented but overall I like the bunk beds. It took me four hours to assemble it. My husband helped me stand it up but I did most of it by myself. You will need a lot of patience for this one. I laid out all the parts in the order they were numbered and I feel that was a huge help ... show more
