Solid box. Works great to hold bills. If you plan on moving this box around a lot I would not suggest placing coins in the coin sections. Large movements will move the coins to different slots. If this is stationary, it works great. The lock works and functions appropriately.

While the top tray can slide out of position, it is easily re-set into proper seating; otherwise this is a very handy and compact cash box for yard sales and farmers market or other marketing booths, or for at home use. It fits into most desk or dresser drawers conveniently. I have no trouble with the key working well, not sticking as with our other, much more expensive cash box, a major plus. This has been dropped without sustaining injury and survives weekly trips to the markets we attend as vendors. I like that it takes up little table space and holds both the cash in the top tray plus has sufficient room for rolls of quarters and smaller coins or extra cash, cheques, etc., underneath the top tray.
