I don't know if I just happened to be the unlucky person who received a somewhat defective unit, but the screws that attach the mechanism to the backrest on my chair do not go all the way in. I tried with the included Allen key wrench and with my own screwdriver with a hexagonal head. With both tools, the screws on the sides would only go in halfway and then seize up, preventing me from tightening them further. The screw in the middle went in fine and seems to be holding everything up okay. However, this does concern me a bit in terms of longevity and durability. I did try and have a friend help me by providing pressure as I torqued the screws in to make sure that the backrest was flat against the mechanism, but I don't know if it's because the cutouts don't align 100% perfectly or what. I also tried loosening the middle one and screwing the other ones in, but they are like immovable objects and I am unfortunately not an unstoppable force. I am 5' 9", 170 pounds and the chair has not spontaneously fallen apart so far so take that for what you will. Other than the shoddy assembly of the backrest and mechanism, the rest of the chair assembled fine. It does feel like essentially every other chair around this price range such as the Monoprice mesh chair, Staples Dexley, etc, so it provides adequate support and is comfortable for a few hours at a time. The mesh bottom is nice because it helps you to stay cool and the arm rests are height adjustable, but not rotatable. Overall, this is a pretty average chair for the price and is comparable to other mesh chairs on the market. The only thing that differentiates them all is essentially going to come down to customer support and ease of return/warranty. Although the screws that I got will not go all the way in, the chair seems to be holding up just fine. It has only been a few days, however, so I will keep this review updated in case it does collapse in on me one day when I go to have a seat. Edit: Luckily, I found another Allen key wrench with a longer handle that was included with a previous chair I built. Now with my limited knowledge of physics, the only explanation I have for why this worked is that the longer handle generated more torque and allowed me to overcome that barrier I was facing earlier when I was trying to get the screws in with the shorter Allen key wrench. One star taken off there for having a faulty tool included, but other than that, it is a good chair for daily use if you do not want to splurge on one of the big name brands like Herman Miller or Steelcase.
