I am 6' tall and at its maximum height, this standing desk is about 3 inches too short for me. (My desk is 29 inches tall, so your mileage may vary). I tried propping my monitor up with some books, which worked fine in standing position, but I had to take them off for sitting position. My eyes are supposed to be in the top third of the monitor, and my elbows are supposed to be at a 90 degree angle, but this riser doesn't get that high, so I was bending my head and looking down. Another reviewer said their boyfriend was 6'4" and it worked great for them, but I can't imagine how. Maybe it's just that I have a 24 inch monitor and they have something far bigger? (My 24" monitor is 11 inches tall by 20 1/2 wide). Measure before you buy. Measure how high the top third of your monitor is from your desk, how tall your desk is, and where your eye level is. For me, this riser's maximum height was too short.

This converter easily supports my two 32" monitors without any weight or surface area issues. It's super quiet and smooth. That little black piece between the keyboard and monitor surface is magnetic and can hold notes and other things. I'm 5'3" and have a walking pad, and there are no issues with it being tall enough. The only assembly is attaching the keyboard shelf to it - just make sure to "unlock" before sliding the tray in. I just looked at the pictures and didn't read the instructions and momentarily couldn't figure out why it wouldn't slide all the way into the brackets.

Initial reaction is this functions for intended purpose. It is capable of lifting two 24” monitors, laptop, docking station, keyboard and a monitor storage stand. The motor sounds like it is struggling a little, but it lifts everything. It’s hard not to compare it to the much more expensive high end brand used for three years (supplied by previous employer). This capable riser was easy to slide the keyboard tray into the slots. Main reason losing a star is the flimsy locking levers. They barely lock upwards to hold keyboard tray in place. May be a one off issue. So far I’ve been careful not to lean on this one, like I did with the previous expensive unit. I do think this is good enough for the price of an electric riser. Time will tell how well it holds up to a few days a week of use.

Had to buy this desk to address a high hamstring tendinitis chronic injury. Nothing to complain about the riser. Sturdy and does the job. If only somebody out there could make a chair for people with high hamstring tendinopathy issues, then this riser desk stand would be perfect. As it is, most chairs that claim to give us relief suck big time. We just spent USD300 on a customized chair to pair with this riser stand and it was an EPIC fail. As usual, manufacturers REFUSE returns when their alledged chairs are too HARD for people like me with such issues. So the riser stand is PERFECT, but it can't help me much for now until I find the RIGHT chair to help chronic proximal hamstring tendinopahy issues.

Assembly could not have been easier or simpler. I also enjoyed the tasteful miscellaneous cable management accessories and magnets that were included with the standup desk, they were a nice touch. It did not require any assembly tools whatsoever. Easy-peasy. Where you place this, will make a difference on its overall stability. If you place this on top of a folding plastic picnic table, for instance, the weight of the unit itself, plus your computer, accessories and arms resting on the standup desk, may create some flexing on your plastic surface. I feel that it is important that where you place this product is a rather solid surface, like a wooden desk. The electric motor operation is quiet and smooth. The controls are easy to see and operate. The color of the “wood grain” is not a perfect match to my home office furniture desk, but it certainly is far better than if I had a solid color unit, like black or white. If the electronics hold up overtime, I will know for a fact that I made a great choice.

Oh my goodness! This is awesome! I can't believe I didn't think of getting this until now. I've been working from home since Covid started in 2020 and I sit on front of my computer (for work) for 10-12 hours per day, so this is such a great addition to my work lifestyle and space. Plus, I recently went to the hospital and the doctor said I should stand up once in a while if I work on front of a computer all day...and that it's better for our health and for our bodies. The desk goes all the way flat so it doesn't affect my laptop viewing level. And my 2 monitors are adjusted all the way down so they're still a perfect height with my laptop. I love the push of a button to have my desk go up and down! There was nothing much to assemble other than sliding the laptop desk onto the main big desk. Thank you Amazon for Flexispot!
