I have an old embroidered hat that has aged well so I bought this one hoping the quality is as good as it was 15+ years ago. Short answer, yes it is. This hat fits well, its cap is forgiving but stiff so it has a domed top and arched bill with a bit of stretch for a snug fit that still doesn't squeeze a mark on your forehead like some hats do. My only concern is that Amazon shipped this formed hat in a paper envelope. I'm used to my old hat so I'm fine with a couple of dents that may or may not be a result of being crushed in transit but if that's a problem for you, well now you've been warned. I don't think that the dents my hat has are any worse than it'd been anyways after a week or so of wearing it. So I say if it looks good, go for it. You'll love it dents and all.

Hat is a very good one with good fit and good quality. I felt it does tend to go more toward the xxl side than the xl side as it is very large and didn't need to stretch at all to fit me. The one thing I really hated though was he packing. I'm not sure if it is the seller or Amazon, but the hat was boxed fine, but the hat itself was wrapped so very tight in plastic that is was deformed, I mean my box cutter had trouble getting though all the tape and plastic. Luckily I was able to smooth it to where it had good shape, but I was really worried. Outside of that I would and have recommended the hat to others.

My hats are usually 7 5/8 and sometimes those aren't even big enough. It seems most hats now come in S/M/L-XL and a lot of times the big ones aren't big enough. I first put this on and thought "just a bit too big" but if a hat is only slightly squeezing my head, I have a headache in about 30 minutes. I run around on a soccer field as an official and this hat has done great and stayed on perfect. Would recommend.

I have a big head, and finding a hat that fits is a big issue. These flexfit hats with their XXL option have been my goto for a while now. My only gripe is that they still have limited colors in those larger sizes.

If God blessed you with a head large enough to contain your big brain and big personality you learned long ago that 99% of "one size fits all" ball caps don't cut it, even when adjusted to Full Capacity. I believe I measure 7 3/4 (it's been a few years since I checked) and this cap fits me great and doesn't cause a headache like the L-XL size did. There are less expensive fitted caps on the market but I'll happily pay a bit more for something I'm satisfied with. Now if I could only find a bike helmet that fits....

I have a pretty big head and tend to not wear hats as it's hard to find ones that fit well. I bought the XXL and was surprised that it not only fit but was someone loose on my head which was a shocker to me. The price for the hat is great and since I mainly use it for golf I just attached a couple of sweat protectors in there and it fits perfectly.
