  • Flex tape
Color: Clear Size: 8 inches x 5 feet
Good quality and easy to use

  • Works well, not exactly clear, though
Color: Clear Size: 8 inches x 5 feet
We had a patch on the floor of our above ground pool that the previous owner had put on, which had started to come loose. Last fall we closed the pool and put the winter cover on, but then after a few days the water level went WAY down... Ended up taking the over off, but didn't see the exact leak spot, and it was too cold to try to put a patch in then. So, we left the pool with a couple of inches of water in it thru the winter. This spring, we tried a regular patch kit, but had a hard time getting enough adhesive spread across the surface so that it would stick and that the edges wouldn't lift. We bought this thinking it would be much like the Gorilla Tape we have used before, which worked excellent in other applications, but we weren't sure how it would adhere under a couple inches of water. And with this tape, the adhesive is all the way to the edge, so I didn't have to worry about that. Just cut to size, peel off the backing, and press down onto the surface. We left a couple of bricks on top of it to help hold it down and make sure it sticks. Seems to be holding for now. Only bad thing is that the adhesive or the plastic isn't truly clear, it had a yellow tinge to it and I don't know how it will fair in the sunlight, but at least it is doing it's job. Anyone I've talked to about doing a new liner this year has said they're 12-16 weeks out just waiting for a liner. I started calling in March, trying to find someone to replace the liner and some other parts, while they're at it, but everyone gave me the same story. I wasn't about to wait for the water to warm up just to drain it all to replace the liner and fill it again. Hoping this lasts for the season until I can get someone to do the liner this fall or next spring. Also, this is definitely a thick layer of adhesive on a plastic sheet. Much thicker than normal tape or gorilla tape. ... show more

  • 8" width better for overlapping tape of roof repair.
Color: Clear Size: 8 inches x 5 feet
Used for sealing up a repair on a metal roof that is covered in snow 4 months a year. The last Flexseal tape used was 4" width if memory serves. Too much cutting and pressing. And if you've worked with this stuff, it is a bit of a pain to cut with gumming up your scissors a ton. That's why purchased the 8" width version. The last application was 3 years ago on the roof and held up pretty well. But sliding snow can be quite powerful, so it was time for a reapplication. Used FlexShot underneath on screw heads and metal seams before applying this tape, so we'll see if we get another 3 leak-free years or more. After time, the flexible rubber tape delaminates and hardens - due to UV exposure probably - from the underlying adhesive, so reapplication is necessary. Still, haven't found anything that works better, short of replacing the roof at huge expense. With substantial overlap (like roofing shingles), 5 feet of tape doesn't go far. Bought 2 rolls to be safe, and needed all of both rolls to do the job. ... show more

  • Flex Tape Rubberized Waterproof Tape, 8" x 5', Clear
Color: Clear Size: 8 inches x 5 feet
I have a hot tub where the stitching is starting to come apart on the cover used for tub. Snow that will melt in this area will accidently fall in the tub filling it past the water level. This was used as a quick fix till I shell out 400 on a new lid. The tape is sticky, and it does its job as advertised. I bet it would make a GREAT Venus Fly Trap or use it on the wife to keep her from going to the mall, spending all that money or using the charge cards.. lol hahahahaha! ... show more

  • Worked Great
Color: Clear Size: 8 inches x 5 feet
I used this tape to cover some holes in a hot tub spa cover. It worked great. Easy to apply. Appears to be holding great. Dummy me didn't read the description so didn't realize it was 8" wide & only 5' long so I just cut it into strips & it worked just fine. Note to self: read description of items before buying lol. ... show more

  • Flex Tape
Color: Gray Size: 4 inches x 5 feet
It is sturdy and very adhesive. I ordered gray to match my SUV which has 2 large rust spots on the top. My son used the tape a couple years ago on one of his vehicles and according to him is doing the job of preventing more rust and potential leaks. Rather than paying a huge amount to sand and repaint an older model vehicle, I figure the only people who will see my fix is truckers and drones. Ha. Otherwise, the vehicle is in very good shape and has low mileage. ... show more

  • Doesn't stand up to water under pressure
Color: Clear Size: 8 inches x 5 feet
Though they make really cool commercials, the actual product isn't the miracle fix they make it out to be. I tried to use this to cap off an opening in our dishwasher spray arm and it just didn't work. At all. I even doubled it up hoping that would help, but no dice. It's not that it was too high pressure, the Flex Tape just literally turned to goo. Live and learn. I've still got a huge chunk of the roll for any other fixes (outside of dishwashers) that may creep up in the next 12 years. ... show more
