I was really impressed with how well this Flex Paste worked! I used it to repair a leak in my garden hose, and it sealed the problem quickly and effectively. The paste was easy to apply, stuck well to the surface, and created a strong waterproof seal once it cured. This stuff is amazing! I actually meant to buy grey to test it on a crack near the pool. Since I accidentally bought clear, I tested it on a pool tile and then to file a tiny hole near the pool. It is awesome! And since it leaves a soft, waterproof, rubbery coating I decided to put it on one of the stones above the hot tub where my son always slips. Problem solved! Like is said, AMAZING! It is versatile, it bonds to everything, super easy to use, goes on easy, because it is clear, you cannot see it (so it looks great!), and the price is great! I am thrilled with Flex Paste! I used it to fix two of my mid-size, not-inexpensive garden pots which, in separate incidents, were broken into pieces. (One fell off a deck railing from about 12 feet up; one was run over by a delivery van.) I was able to glue the segments together, but was left with some gaps in the seams and some missing chunks. Plumber's putty was useless. The Flex Paste was easy to use, had only the faintest of odors, filled gaps without shrinking, and cured with a gloss that blended with the pottery glaze. I fixed the first pot on April 1, sealed the can, and had no issues with the paste when I fixed the 2nd pot on April 23. Even when fully cured the paste does retain a slightly rubbery feel, but still looks great. ... show more

    • Can't Do Without It! My Dependable "Utility Player"!

Sticks well. Easily works overhead as a base for ceiling plaster repairs. Durable. Used it in an industrial job for lining repairs inside a demineralizer regeneration tank. Was supposed to be temporary. Still holding after three years!

The can came very dented. Of concern was it was near the lip. But it was usuable in gel form as seen after two weeks. Take your chances. Really need to package it better.

    • Surprisingly Smooth to Apply
Color: Clear Size: Half-Quart
I was surprised how smooth the seal applied, similar to spackle, but unlike spackle you have a much longer work time to apply and work the product onto the surface. Spackle will often dry too fast and pull up on itself requiring more sanding and additional applications. This product doesn’t do that, lets you work with it until it’s smooth. I used it over a small piece of wallboard which sometimes gets slightly wet as it is near a shower stall. After removing the top crumbled skin layer of wallboard and drying the rest of it completely I applied this over the exposed wallboard similar to what you would do with spackle. Note it advises it is paintable but does not sand well. However the long work time lets you smooth it down nicely. Not sure how this will hold up in the long term, but so far, so good. ... show more
