The pickguard worked for my 1999 affinity strat, but two of the holes were not aligned and needed to be expanded a little for the screws to fit in. The back cover does not fit at all. The material feels a little thick. The white color is too white to my taste. It has a slight blue tone that makes it look less attractive. I would recommend you to try a different white. I am planning to replace it with a parchment color one next year when I change the strings. ... show more

This thing looks amazing but the screw holes on the front and back plate didnt line up with my squier strat. I had to shave off the where the neck met the pick guard which made the screw holes match up. The back plate is completely off though and will require drilling new pilot holes.

Like other people have said, there are two layers of protective film so make sure you get both of them. The pickguard seemed to align pretty well and the full shielding eliminated almost all of the noise I was getting in my audio interface. My one gripe though was that the back panel doesn't line up all that well with the bridge. I'm probably going to have to take it off if I need to replace one or two of the strings. But I was pleasantly surprised that the white finish is slightly muted instead of a bright white. ... show more
