Nice pickguard for a great price
Color: 3Ply Mint Green
The pickguard is really a nice mint color and well cut. Almost all the holes lined up with my 2000 Squire Strat. I'm not upset that the holes don't match exactly because this pickguard is designed to cover a number of different years of 8 hole Strat pickguards so I expected there might a bit of misalignment. Nothing my small round file can't fix. I'm only talking about 1-2 holes off by 1/16 or less. Otherwise for the price it can't be beat!! Once I get it mounted on my Strat, which I'm currently repainting and upgrading the PUPS, I'll post a picture of it.

Watch the pickup screw holes!
Color: 4Ply Aged Pearl
Nice looking pearl plates. I was expecting the pickguard screw holes to not match up and the didn’t. The holes for the pickup mounts were threaded and exactly matched the pickup threads. This made adjustment of the pickup height impossible. A simple fix to drill them out a little larger but shouldn’t have had to. Minor irritation. Back plate screw holes are incorrectly spaced. Had to drill new holes into the body. Deducted one star for the extra work.

Awesome Product, Looks Great

looks great, the Pick guard fits perfect on Stratocaster Squire Model Guitars, the back plate hole for installing strings FITS but it Does Not Align perfectly with the tremolo portion where it needs to so you can string the guitar. I just enlarged the hole with a razor knife the black guitar is a no name squire look alike but the rear plate aligns better on that than on the squires

Not exactly right, but glad I got it for my 96-97 Squier strats

Had a hard time finding and 8-hole pick guards at all, much less one that fit a 96 or 97 Squier Strat. These guys showed the dimensions and I figured they were close enough to try. So, the pickguard holes were slightly off in about four holes, but it was so close that I drilled out just a little bit of the guard ( not the guitar) and got them to fit with no signs showing. The rear plate is another story; there’s no way to fit it reasonably well at all. Scrapped it. Let’s face it. Who sees the back but you?
