The fleece lining is incredibly soft and plush — like wearing your favorite blanket. They are genuinely warm. I wore these in 40°F (4°C) weather and they felt perfectly comfortable! The thick lining gives you all the warmth of heavy leggings, but with the stylish look of pantyhose. The fit was snug and smoothing, which is great, but if you are tall or borderline between sizes, I'd recommend sizing up to ensure they don't pull uncomfortably at the crotch or waist. They have great stretch, but the waist is firm.
