    • Do not buy this printer there are so many better options
This printer is genuinely the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever received from a company, when my first one was delivered it was completely unusable out of the box I tried looking around at it so see if there was something I missed I watched multiple videos of different things that could happen, mind you this is my 5th 3d printer so it’s not like I didn’t have some type of idea how to use it. Completely 100% unusable out of package actual piece of useless trash , I decided that maybe it was just a fluke and ordered a replacement when it got here I opened it and set it up exactly how it says so on the website it did a single print and then completely broke down unusable just like the first one. With this one I didn’t even try I just turned it off and came here to write a review. I hate writing poor reviews I like giving every company a chance but zero support , zero feedback and zero use of this 800 dollar printer. Amazon is amazing like always and did the absolute most they could but flash forge is awful do some research buy anything else before you make the mistake I did. ... show more

    • Broke down rather quickly
I wanna say I really liked the touchscreen, software, and the many ease of use... however it's smoothness deteriorated quickly after the first few days. I couldn't really do much to rectify this. I also had problems with the headbed not heating properly.

    • Issues with the pro
I previously owned an adventurer 3 pro and overall was happy with it. I'm not sure what went wrong with this build but I've had nothing but challenges with it. Right out of the box: - loud vibration on the build plate - layer shifting - failed prints in pla & abs due to shifting + inability to stick on the metal plate - Flashprint software is missing a lot of preloade filament options and the defaults are set to maximum speed I opted to get a glass build plate on the flashforge website to see if it would alleviate some of the challenges. After two weeks of waiting and dealing with more failed prints, the build plate is incompatible, although the website says Adventurer 4 "series", implying compatibility. ... show more

    • What a complete piece of garbage

I’ve owned this printer for a week and have wasted a 5 gallon bucket of filament. You get 1-2 good prints then everything goes to hell. I have the 3 pro so was hoping for a work horse like that just larger - nope! Just a piece of garbage for 800. I’d give less than 1 star if I could. I’ve taken it apart 15 times just tonight and still can’t get it to feed. I don’t really want to be a printer repair person ... show more
