Worth the price. It is (almost) perfect. Pros: Grips on the seat bottom so it doesn’t slide; no bar across the back rest; thick comfortable padding. Cons: No carrying strap. We use these seats for high school basketball games, so we don’t carry them far. But if I had to walk a long distance I would add my own carrying strap. No big deal. With 2 kids playing a variety of sports, we find ourselves spending a lot of time in the bleachers at practices and games. At 5'9" for me and 6'3" for my husband, hours spent sitting with no back support was brutal. I finally gave in and did some research to try to find some bleacher seats. I'm so glad I ordered these! They are a little pricey and a little larger than some other seats, but they are really comfortable. Nice thick padding, comfortable back support, nice and stable on flat metal bleachers when using the hook. We usually arrive early and try for the top row of bleachers so we aren't crowding anyone behind us or making anyone strain to see over the top of us. (I am curious if these will work decently on the molded plastic bleachers where my oldest plays basketball during the winter, haven't tried that yet.) These seats are lighter than I expected for their size. My husband was skeptical, but after standing through another game decided to go ahead and try one. After five minutes, he sighed and said, "Oh wow, that is so much better on my back!" Fall 2020, These stadium chairs are perfect! My husband is 6”1 & about 220 pounds, I was a little concerned that they weren’t going to be deep enough, but that isn’t a concern we have at all. We love the bracket that helps support the chair if we are up on our feet quickly, & the back rest feels sturdy too! Add a large umbrella & we are comfortable as can be! We are only in the stadium seats for about an hour and a half & we love them, but maybe if you were in tournament mode, you may want something a little different. Also love that it’s canvas so we customize something that fits our daughters sports & team! No arm holders on these, but we don’t feel without, so when the sun was beating down on us, we could get closer together under an umbrella & now that it’s colder it’s perfect to put our seats closer together to share a blanket. Neither of us are “bottom heavy” so we feel like we fit on the seat comfortably. If you are pear shaped, this might not be the best option for you. ... show more

I purchased four of these for a theater outing in an amphitheater setting. The seating area had hard metal and wood benches with backs, and the seats were higher than they’d a regular bleacher seat. My observations after our outing: PLUSSES: …1… These Flash Furniture Grandstand Comfort Seats are very well made. Quality materials and workmanship and sturdy. I tested them on a garden bench before our theater night, and the metal bleacher hook (which folds up if you don’t need to use it) is also strong and can handle shifting around. …2… Part of the chair’s good design is in the handle on the chair when it is folded up for transport. The handle has enough clearance from the seat itself that the largest hand can fit it without rubbing and small hands can also easily grasp the handle for carrying. Having that extra space for the handle also makes it more comfortable to carry. …3… We were sitting on hard benches with backs. The back of the Flash Furniture chair is narrow and comfortable, so it worked fine on the benches with backs. I tested the chair on a garden bench without a back, and this Flash Furniture chair’s back is strong and comfortable. …4… I purchased four carrying bags to go with these seats, mostly because I thought they’d be easier and neater to store them in bags. Stadium Chair Carry Bag. These seats fit in the bags, though you have to put them in sideways. If you put them in sideways, there is room on the sides to stuff in small items, but it’s not a large space. …5… If you are looking for seating comfort, this chair is REALLY nice. The seat cushion is much deeper than your average chair. However, this leads to the MINUS # 1. I bought two of these in 2019, and they are still going strong (I’m writing this in July 2025). The seats are strong and comfortable to sit in, even in long events. I like that they have a hook that locks onto the bleacher, so you can recline as long as no one is sitting behind you. Not that at almost 7.5 pounds, these are not the lightest option available, and even when folded they take up quite a bit of space. This is not generally an issue (for a single sporting event, for example) but I’m currently researching more compact options that I can take to day-/weekend-long events when I have a car-full of other gear (wagon, chairs, coolers, lax gear, etc) and am only bringing them in the off chance that a game is in a stadium). ... show more
