My 15 month old son's favorite reading and watching tv chair. I have the chair set up in the reading corner. He grabs the book he wants to read and climbs into the chair. This chair is great for when he is allowed to watch tv. I just put a small cup with his snacks in the cup holder and he sits in his chair snacking away and having fun. I originally put the feet on but realized I had to take them off so he could get on the chair himself. I will definitely get lots of use out of this chair. We are not at the reclining stage yet because he likes to get on and off so much, but the chair is a great size and will be around for a long time. Great quality materials. Easy to wipe down. I really wanted the blue one, but my husband refused and I'm so glad I listened (for once lol) because the black version is just so cute and looks like a mini me chair and blends in beautifully. Will be getting another when we have our next little one in the future and it will be like a mini living room! 6 Month Update: My son has climbed on this, stood on the armrests for extended periods of time, jumped off of it like it's a trampoline, loves to sit in it for story time, I even caught a heavier adult accidentally sitting on it, and it still looks brand new. It is so easy to clean! One baby wipe and it's clean. I still haven't put on the little legs, but I have no doubt this chair will last a very, very long time and I will put them on when he's older. After purchasing this recliner in the light brown micro-suede as a gift for my two year-old grand daughter to have at her home, she loved it so much that she kept coming to Nana's house and asking where her "special chair" was. Presto...second chair purchased in chocolate brown faux leather! Assembly is incredibly easy and takes less than five minutes (even if you're moving in slow-mo or have a two year-old helper). It's not at all hard for my grandie to recline her chair, as she quickly figured out that she can do this while standing next to it and then climb into the seat. The VERY slight stiffness when adjusting the chair to the reclining position makes it sturdier when the foot rest is up, and in my opinion, is a great safety feature because it's more likely to stay in position until intentionally lowered. This recliner is very well-constructed and I anticipate several years of use before she outgrows it. Grandie loves that the arm rest cup holder is perfectly sized for sippy cups and conveniently doubles as a snack holder. Nana loves that the faux leather can be cleaned with a quick swipe of a damp cloth, making it perfect for sticky little fingers and booboo spills. Decently made chair. I was worried it may be too small from the reviews but it is perfect size for my children. My daughter is almost two and it is super roomy for her. I also bought my tall five year old one and his feet don't touch the floor yet. The chair is super soft and the fabric feels nice, not cheap. The purple is actually a really pretty shade. My daughter and son both love it! The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because there is no way to flip up the recliner unless you grab it underneath by hand. There should be a lever or something like the adult recliners have. Besides that, this chair seems durable and will get a lot of use. I consider this a great buy! ... show more

This chair is wonderful. My toddler is very happy to have her own chair that looks like what momma and dadda sit on. She can get in and out of it easily and safely and will be able to grow and use it for a few years. Assembly was easy and straightforward. The chair is sturdy. It looks good. It has shown some resistance to staining already, which is nice as kids will be kids. My toddler uses the cup holder and eats her snacks in the chair while watching Sesame Street. Although it hasn't happened yet, the chair could tip when my toddler is climbing on the top of it. Not a fault of the chair per say, but it is worth noting that you have to set some boundaries if you have a little jungle climber. The footrest that swings out is neat and my toddler thinks it is cool like mom and dad, but she cannot open or close it on her own. We have to help. Not a big deal either, but FYI. The chair is super cute and soft, easy to assemble and came really fast! The only thing I was curious was if my 6 year old would fit as it was for her, she still loves it but it is a bit small as you can see in the pic. She is 44in tall so it deff works better for smaller children, my 38in tall 4 year old fits perfectly!
