Description

The Auto-Changeover LP Regulator allows you to hook up 2 Propane tanks and the regulator automatically switches over to the second tank once the first one runs out (and vice versa). The indicator changes color to let you know when a tank has been depleted and needs to be refilled. The inlet is a 1/4" SAE inverted flare and the outlet is a 3/8" NPT female. Also included are 2 of the 12" pigtails to connect the regulator to the propane tank or propane supply.

I am a home baker and I swear having a stove/oven that doesn’t work properly just about sent me over the edge. My oven was taking at least an hour to heat up to the proper temperature and I couldn’t take it anymore. I did some serious research and realized that the whistling sound coming from the oven was actually a bad regulator. We run off of liquid propane because we are trying to be more self sufficient and we live in a tiny home. This regulator not only succeeded in making sure my oven performs better but it’s working better than a brand new one! And the fact that I don’t have to call my husband over to help me change the propane is also a win in my book. I’m so glad I went with my gut on this product despite the less than great reviews… I’m thinking that maybe most reviews might not have the right setup for this regulator. My old regulator that came with my travel trailer (2016) seemed to be working but when I installed a tankless water heater it wouldn't work. At first I thought the water heater was bad but after researching, I discovered that incorrect gas pressure can cause the same symptoms I was seeing. Great idea, No more lighting the pilot light when 1 of the propane tanks runs out or needs refilling. But if you read the reviews you'll see what I found out the hard way. I installed the switching valve and relit my pilot lights and as I was putting up my tools I heard a loud noise and the terrible smell of propane. I rushed to the tanks and found 1 of the plastic tank line nuts had cracked almost completely off the tank fitting loosing most of the propane. BTW That's Not My Complaint. Thankfully there was no flames or sparks close by so I thought maybe it was just a defective line nut so I ordered a replacement. When I took the old switching valve off the other plastic line nut broke off the same way. What a DANGEROUS way for a company to save a few bucks at me or my family being seriously hurt. I started reading all the1star reviews and most of them were about the same issue. When I received the replacement valve I Never Even Opened The Package!! Instead I asked for a refund and sent it back. Which Thankfully Was done Through AMAZON 30 Day Return Policy With NO Hassles. ... show more
