I'm a type 1 diabetic and autistic, so I need to carry my diabetes supplies and autism things with me all the time and this bag fits all of it with room to spare ! At first I was disappointed cuz I needed something to carry my diabetes supplies, ear defenders, communication cards, wallet, fidgets, earplugs and phone and I didn't think it'd all fit, BUT IT DOES. I love this mini backpack, it’s perfect in lieu of a purse to pack my work essentials. I chose the black color because my experience of the Kanken backpacks generally is that they stain easily, so far no complaints there. I notice several reviewers complaining about its size - I thought it was clear from the item listing that it’s a mini backpack, and it’s exactly the size I expected to receive based on that. This little backpack holds so much! When it arrived I was skeptical but I fit more in this that waht was in my larger backpack....it's super durable and very easy to clean smudges and stuff. I would definitely recommend.

Great size for a daypack; wouldn't recco for an everyday, student backpack with tons for books/lunch box, but it is just the right size for a sleepover or a day pack. I purchased for my 8-yr-old daughter. The design and colorway is unique and very slyly. We love!

The bag holds a lot of stuff even for its small size. It seems very sturdy and made to last but, unfortunately, I won’t be able to find out as the straps are extremely short, even when fully extended. It feels like I am wearing a backpack made for a toddler, despite this clearly being marketed for adults. Actually, I’ve worn my preschooler’s backpacks before and they fit less snug than this one. If you are even a slightly larger person then beware you may not even be able to comfortably wear this bag at all. Yes, before anyone asks, I am positive I extended the straps all the way, I watched the video showing how to do it and everything. This was extremely disappointing as this was something I had been wanting for a while and now is just a disappointment.
