I love my Kanken but…I just needed a pocket or two to hold things I didn’t want getting lost in one big area. This worked perfect for my phone and wallet. So handy I was able to get right to those items. I love that it doesn’t take up any room and I still have a big area to put my other items.

A while ago I was forced to toss out the “seat pad” that comes with a kanken. I finally discovered this insert as a way to replace it and help it keep its shape (9/10). In terms of the pockets and pencil holders it’s very small and tight. The bottom pocket is big enough to hold my portable charger and cable and the top is barely big enough to hold my phone {iPhone 7 plus} so I’d give it a 7/10. ... show more

This organized made it easier to store stuff, as expected. While I do wish the top pocket was a bit wider, I’ve Still been able to fit everything I planned to in an organized fashion. I didn’t realize this but it also has a large pocket for folders and such behind the smaller pockets.

I like the concept of this item and purchased it because the original kanken doesn’t come with any interior pockets which makes finding things quite difficult. This organizer makes things a little easier but the pockets could be bigger and the back part that is supposed to replace the foam pad isn’t very durable and is flimsy. I left the foam back along with the organizer for extra support, but you would think this would help with support and holding the shape more than the foam. ... show more
