I need some light duty flat pedal bike shoes and found these as perfect pair. Inner sole is comfy for 3+ hours ride. Outer sole is rigid enough to pedal hard. Ergonomic lace location and shoe tongue are plus (all shoes should adapt these desgin features so that we don't need to adjust the shoe tongue frequently!!!). Width is little questionable due to my wierd foot shape (relatively long pinky or very square toe arrangement). Shoes are not narrow, but not wide either. After 3-4 months of break-in, it is little better now. Just beware this since some people might feel discomfort. Size is 43 EUR, US 9 3/4, 277mm. Since I own two other Fizik shoes, finding my size was not so challenging, but yes, it was difficult to find the correct one (returned twice before fully understanding its size metrics). I am using flat pedals primarily. I would add shoe SPD plugs to cover the bottom, but might not be necessary if you are not planning to hike any trails with these on. I purchased these because of the brand, style/appearance and intention to use them for walking/hiking while out for a bike ride. They are very stylish appearing more like a cross training fitness shoes then the typically clunky MTB shoe. They are very light weight and fit perfectly, so they are very comfortable ( I wear a US size 10 1/2 and require a good sized toe box) and these work great. In spite of their lightness the sole is rigid and can handle as much power as I have applied so far. I have been using them on an indoor trainer (Concept 2 Bike Erg) with Shimano SPD MTB cleats and think they will be perfect for what I intended to use them for when Spring arrives. For a biking shoe, I would have expected the toe box to be larger as your feel will swell when riding. The shoe looks great, but I put one shoe on and knew it was too tight.

Used them for a bikepacking trip in the Black Hills. They worked great - used them with Birkenstock inlays though. The laces are nice and provide flexibility when tying shoes for different uses, bike pushing or riding.
