These are really pretty frames and so simple to use on a shelf. When I was first deciding whether or not to order these, I thought, from the pictures, that there was a black design in the bottom left corner. As it turns out, that is simply the stand showing through when laying them flat. These definitely have the clear glass band all of the way around. I am not hanging these on the wall so I didn't need to install the extra hardware for that. Instead, I simply took them out of the package, slid in my photo and I was done! Literally from packaging to display in less than a minute. The built in stand does not seem particularly sturdy so I do hope that it holds up over time; especially since the frame is glass but I will come back and edit my review if something should go wrong. This is a great tempered glass frame. I really like the outer glass layer and not the typical wood trim. The frame is for an 8"x10" picture, but has a larger glass view surrounding the picture. My daughter put some of her canvas posters in them and they fit perfectly. They can be placed on a firm surface, but also come with hooks for hanging on the wall. These frames are super cute if you're looking for frames that stand out. The product also comes with hanging hooks to help you prevent wall damage which is definitely a plus. The frames aren't super heavy but they are not dollar tree light. It is made of good material.

When I first opened the package and saw the nails I wasn’t sure what I was getting in for, but those are there to hang on the wall. I am using it on a table so all I had to do was slide my 8x10 photo in between the glass through the top. It was nice not having to adjust the back at all.
