I was looking for a riding shoe with a recessed cleat. These are frequently used by mountain bike riders but I use them on my road bike with dual platform pedals which allow me to pedal unclipped while on the street vs. trail. Traditional road bike shoes/cleats are not recessed making it difficult to get off your bike and walk around, enter a store or restaurant. However, a newer feature on road shoes is the “boa” lacing system for infinite adjustment of tightness of lacing. This feature is hard to find on a traditional mountain bike shoe. I've always love Adidas shoes. These are no disappointment. I did not expect them to be as heavy as they are. This was my first experience with clipless. But the stiffness of these makes it feel like your entire foot is the pedal. I do still like riding flats in some situations, but most days are spent in these. Comfortable. Fit great. The BOA is the way to go on any shoe! As long as you aren't doing tons of hike a bike these are great all day. ... show more

I initially ordered these shoes in a 10.5 which is my normal size. However they turned out to be a half size small. I requested a refund and then ordered a half size bigger which was scheduled to be delivered a few days out. To my surprise I had a knock at my door the following day I ordered the replacement shoes and there was the replacement shoes. The company sent the replacement shoes over night air at their own expense. Cheers and thank you! The shoes are great!
