These are high quality spiral notebooks that also meet a high standard for sustainability. The fact that every part of this notebook is recycled material of 80% or more is really something quite outstanding. In addition, certain unique design touches make this a superior notebook for usage purposes as well. I love the PAPER 2 sided pocket at the beginning (perfect!), the little triangle at the beginning of each ruled line, the dual texture tree image on the cover, and even the mysterious icons in the corner of each page. I gave my elderly mother 2 of them (one to go with her new 'ipad for Seniors' learning book, and one for keeping notes on her Health journey) for Christmas, and kept 2 for myself. Great chioice of colors, very classy. This was everything I was looking for in a spiral bound notebook. Great work, Mead, for creating this product! My only complaint is that I also received 3 colors, not 4. Two were blue. While it worked out in my case since I gave 2 to my mother, I would have preferred one of each of the 4 colors were I purchasing them all for my own use. ... show more

Great value. These notebooks are usually expensive in the stores. It was perfect for back to school supplies. They came in different colors so they wouldn't be mixed up. The spiral was strong. The paper ripped out smoothly. The paper was thick so my pens or markers didn't leak through. Great price

Colors are great, muted and pleasant. 5star brand is good quality paper for academics. I donā€™t see bleed thru like cheap thinner paper goes. The colors help you stay organized, I think.
