These shelves are fine for what we needed them for. I figured Legos are fairly light since I saw the reviews about the shelves sagging. You have to give them a good whack to get the shelves to sit flush against the wall (I tested the bracket out on the shelves before putting them up and they were snug). I ended up using 1/8 toggle bolts instead of the mounting hardware that came with the shelves because these belong to a 4 year old boy. As far as the sturdiness of the brackets, one shelf was already sagging a tiny bit after mounting so I'm hoping these last. Otherwise they didn't budge when I put all the requested Lego sets on the shelves. I definitely would not trust the weight of books on these shelves though so they might end up being just for knickknacks as he gets older.

We love these shelves. They look great, painted well, sturdy. We agree with couple of reviews about the measure tape attached not indicating holes accurately. So we didn’t follow them and marked our own holes. Other than that the gray color matched our bathroom vanity and price was decent.

The template that is used to drill the holes you stick it to the wall however it does not come off of the wall without ripping or leaving residue. I will have to redo the wall around the sticker. The shelves are easy to install and our study

The first shelf I put the tape on and drilled the hole, it did not match up, it is about 1/4 inch off so I had to take out screws and re drill. So put the tape up to the shelf with the brackets in and re mark your holes. It is a cheap shelf but will work for what I need.
