I bought a different brand and sent it back for this, and I’m glad I did! I read in other reviews that the pattern was somewhat difficult to line up, but I didn’t have a problem, and I had a lot of things to cut around. The gridlines on the back made installation easy, and the paper was a medium thickness, which I like. It was exactly what I needed to change the look of my kitchen without spending the money on a tile backsplash, as this is not our forever home and I try to do things on the cheap. Overall, I would recommend it for any DIYer.

We are remodeling a house. First i cleaned the walls and then painted them but then decided a couple days later that I wanted to do a backsplash instead so I started looking and found this and loved the design. We wanted to use this for a while and make sure that we liked it before choosing an option of tile. It got here a few days later and I started putting it up. It could've been a little thicker and it does tear easily so you have to be careful but overall it wasn't bad and was very doable. The application wasn't bad. all my colors and lines matched up perfectly unlike what others stated in their reviews. everything looked great when I finished, I didn't have problems with bubbles or nothing and I was very happy with it. Then the next day when I walked in, the wallpaper had formed bubbles/air pockets EVERYWHERE. I went through with my smoothing tool and resmoothed it all out but within about and hour the paper was already releasing from the wall again and forming big bubbles/air pockets. I repeated resmoothing again numerous times and it just continued to release from the wall. So since I liked it so much I decided to get a wallpaper spray adhesive to put it down with. the adhesive went down nice and the wallpaper went back on smooth. I accidentally got a little adhesive on the front in one spot and when I went to wipe it away, the ink in the design wiped off (oops) luckily it was in a very small spot that wouldn't be too noticeable. a couple hours later, I went to check on it and make sure that it was staying down and the adhesive started melting the wall paper. it was scrunching/shribbling up in random spots everywhere. I still thought maybe we can hide it as long as we don't have bright light shining directly on it. by the next day the bubbles/air pockets were back. there was no saving this wallpaper at this point. now I'm pulling it off and have a mess to clean up and got to find something else.

For the quality of this paper, I would say that for the price it's not bad. I did have a little difficulty lining up the paper just right. And it was fairly thin. It's not 3D. By that, I mean that it is pretty obvious that it is not real tile. But I think it's really cute and for my needs it was just right. I am not doing a wall with it. I used this along with a concrete style wallpaper to fake a decent looking backdrop for small items that I need to photograph. I don't have the space to setup a full photography backdrop and lights. Also I love the Replica Surfaces but I also don't want to pay the premium price. For my setup, I just got two foam boards, one in black and one in white. To one side of the white one, I added this peel and stick hex wall paper. And to one side of the black, I added the concrete wallpaper. WIth that I have several different options for backdrops.

We actually used this wallpaper on a tiled small bathroom floor. The tile had been painted by the previous owner and had gotten sticky. We are not ready to renovate, so we covered the floor with this. Since it’s not a high traffic area, very small space, and we use bath rugs on top, it’s been an excellent temporary solutions. Easy to clean, and hasn’t scuffed so far. We’ve had it on there for several months, and so far so good.

The backing was so thin that I'd be laying the pattern only to discover some of the backing was still on the paper. I'd have to pull it back off and pull out the straglers. This would stretch the paper.

I bought a small roll to do my wall behind the counter, decided I wanted to do the whole wall and switch which direction the pattern was going to I ripped off the bottom and put it on top of the cupboards then did the bottom horizontal off a bigger roll that I later purchased so I could make sure the pattern was straight along the counter, even after ripping it off the wall MULTIPLE times it still stuck when I moved it to a different spot on the wall! This is the first time I’ve used peal and stick so the forgiveness of removal and resticking was much appreciated! In the end I LOVE how it looks and can’t wait to enjoy it until we can afford actual backsplash! Highly recommend as long as you can line up the pattern!

The product shipped quickly enough which was appreciated. However, trying to install it several issues arose. - First, the paper on the adhesion does NOT come off in one piece. It often tore and shredded extremely easily resulting in the having to try to scrape it while half of it was stuck to the wall. As a result, trying to get the back off, resulted in me loosing some of the glue on the actual paper. - The product does NOT line up correctly, despite having the grid lines on there. I often had to try to pull off and re-stick trying to get the lines to correctly line up. Even if one tiny bit is off, down the wall it will be completely off due to the design. - Bubbles often formed and they can not be smoothed out easily because it is extremely thin paper. I had to remove on entire strip because it ripped as I was trying to get one particular troublesome bubble out. Skip this product. If you must go this particular brand, do NOT go with a pattern that requires it to be perfectly aligned. It wont match, despite how much effort you put into it!
