Nice looking sneakers, comfortable on my feet, but I could not tie the laces tight enough. They were simply too wide and I have never come across this before. I only tried them on when they came, I didn't wear them around because they felt a bit like clown shoes. I'm sure they would be great for someone with wider feet than mine and I did love the color, but just not for me. ... show more

I have 'duck-shaped' feet and narrow heels. I'm a size 9, got a size 9 x-wide. 3 stars: The shoes had great cushion, a wide toe box, but too narrow in the middle of my foot.

These shoes had a price tag just shy of 70 bucks. You would think for that amount of money, you would get what the description advertised on Amazon, ie. "Upper material: Durable Leather" and "Mesh Knit Upper, Outer material Suede." The body of the sneaker is made of Mesh Knit, but unfortunately, there is not a trace of "Suede" or "Durable Leather" anywhere on the sneaker, as the Amazon description stated. What there is, instead, is a thin, flocked imitation suede and a fake leather around the toe box in the front of the sneaker that just screams, "Cheap Construction" or "You've been duped" !!! Pity-- it was a cute style, but I seriously doubt the durability of this FAKE LEATHER. There is mesh knit, and I did size up 1/2 size larger, so the fit was comfortable, but since I'm returning these little "advertising gems of misinformation", I can't attest to either their "comfort" or "support". The heavy rubber bottom seemed a little clumsy, but that could be a matter of personal style, as a lot of current sneakers styles seem to be gravitating towards the "platform look" which to me, in a sneaker ,defeats it's purpose as athletic shoe, but than again, I'm not looking for extra help getting things down from tall places. It seemed so wonderful to finally find a pair of sneakers I thought would be comfortable, durable, and cute (cute means sneaks that make your feet look smaller, when you wear a size 10, that's important) and than these abominations landed on my front porch and here I am still looking for a decent pair of sneakers. I am very disillusioned with FITVILLE & Amazon. Do Amazon not check to see if what companies like FitVille, are "advertising" is indeed what customers are "receiving" ? Obviously, NOT. SHOE DESIGNERS OF USA can you design a sneaker that is good construction, and while you are at it,consult with a good podiatrist so you make one that's comfortable without making false claims of alleviating serious foot problems such as plantar fascitis, flat feet, or hammer toes that really need in reality ORTHopedic devices to help someone with these serious foot conditions? What many women need are wide toe boxes, durable construction, Sneakers you can wear in the rain, and than dry out without turning into hard little shells of their former selves!!! Sneakers that are reasonably priced, sneakers that are "pretty"...and durable...and most importantly, don't feel like medieval torture devices after a few hours of wear? I am returning the FitVilles. Tried on with the highest of hopes, and returned with the most disappointed of purchases. I am going on the hunt for a pair of sneakers which will fill all the criteria, but I may as well be searching for Sasquatch, or Nessie because like them ,they just may not exist. ... show more

Actually, quite comfortable! My wife has only worn them once, but she really likes them. She has a slight mobility challenge and she stepped in, with no problem. They are slip resistant and she likes the wide chose of colors.
