  • Great Fit and Good Quality
Color: f-fus-flip-case
Great fit and good quality I’m very happy with this key fob shell case. It looks nice, feels well made, and gives my remote a fresh, clean appearance. The design is convenient and it fits my Ford Fusion remote as expected. It’s a simple and affordable way to replace a worn-out key fob shell without having to replace the entire remote. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement shell case. ... show more

  • It’s working fine

It’s working fine with my ford fusion 2016 every thing it’s easy just hard to remove the small pin to replace the original key with the aftermarket key

  • Works well but takes some effort
Color: f-fus-flip-case
I was able to use these to make two key fobs after both of mine had broken. I watched a YouTube video and then assembled them. The tricky part is removing the dowel pin that holds the key blank in and remembering to wind the spring so that the key pops out when you press the button. On one of the key fobs, the key would get stuck when I tried to open it. So I had to file down the plastic on one side, but it works fine now. It's a little trouble, but it's worth the money saved. ... show more

  • Works for the button replacement
Color: f-fus-flip-case x2
Alright, I read the reviews. As many people noted; the original ford switchblade key breaks at the button from metal fatigue. I ordered the pair of replacements, with the intention of only replacing the spring loaded button in met fob from the aftermarket fob sold here. Easy enough, I actually have a watch band tool I purchased from HF a few years back and the pin that holds the key is about this size. From unboxing and comparing side by side, these seem almost identical with the exception of the ford logo. I removed the key blank button and pin and put in the same pin with the old key on the replacement button. The button and spring mechanism are different. There is more metal on the components in the cord version. Also the spring is much weaker on the aftermarket version. However, it does the job. While I had the old fob apart I attempted to swap the key ring metal from the new with the old. There is less than a millimeter difference. But this also means it doesn’t fit exactly without forcing it in. Because this is plastic I opted to leave the old key ring portion in instead of replacing it with the new one. Given that this is off from factory, I would also assume the silicon insert will be off as well. This would mean you could have issues if you did a complete swap out. If you reuse the silicone pad you may be able to get better results. Additionally, I am considering swapping the new spring with the old. However the button mechanism is a little different, and it may not work as desired. Overall, it is way cheaper than going to the dealer. And worth the effort. If you are planning on ordering these, I suggest getting the mini star screwdriver to go with it. There are cheap sets on Amazon, for this purpose, and you are bound to need them again. I happened to have a set I used for a battery swap on iPhone. The new fobs use a mini Phillips head screw so you wouldn’t need it for the new fob. Note: I ordered the two pack, the first one I opened wasn’t put together properly nor was the screw in place and literally fell apart taking it out of the bag. Luckily I wasn’t buying it for electronics swap. ... show more

  • BROKEN AND MISSING PARTS
Color: f-fus-flip-case x2
PSA!!! Check both remotes for broken/missing parts before installation!!! This would have been a really good replacement option, but one of the remotes in the 2 pack was broken and missing parts. I have two factory Ford key fobs that needed some hardware replaced. I replaced the first one with the parts provided and it went fine. I opened up the second remote to do the same swap and noticed that it was missing the spring, and the small post that the spring is supposed to attach to was broken off and missing. It almost appeared that someone else had bought this, taken the parts they needed, and returned it. I had already done the replacement on one remote and it worked great. I really didn't want to disassemble the entire remote that did work just in order to return both of them because one was faulty. I guess I'll end up eating the second one. Would have been a really great option to be able to exchange the ONE faulty remote for one that is useable. ... show more

  • Key doesn’t pop out.
Color: f-fus-flip-case
Was an easy switch but unfortunately the key doesn’t pop out when the button is pressed you have to dig the key out of the little space it tucks into and that doesn’t work for me. Not practical.

  • Worked great
Color: f-fus-flip-case
My daughter’s key broke off. The locksmith said to order this shell and he’d cut the new key for FAR less than buying a whole new unit. He put the guts from the old fob into the shell and saved us a lot of $$

Worked well. Had to find someone who would cut the key for a reasonable price. Put chip in new kry fob works great.
