This watch is an incredible value. Nice looking apple watch dupe, fully waterproof, (i shower with it on and swim) excellent heartrate monitor. One can set their own daily baseline mileage, step, and calorie burn (cals burned ON TOP of BMR) and the watch accurately tracks your data based on movement for mileage and impact for steps. The watch combines real-time heartrate data and steps to give an accurate calorie burn estimate once youve set your sex, age, and weight in the app. Im very active and this watch has been the missing link for tracking accurate calorie burn/consumption when cutting fat for me. It makes all the difference between religiously following one’s previously laid out meal plan to your own detriment VS eating that slice of pizza (or cup of oatmeal) when youve hiked 8 miles and can afford it while still maintaining your calorie deficit. The watch has been razor accurate on my sleep data, HR data, and step data. It must be worn TIGHT to get an accurate heartrate monitor in real-time. LCD display is low-tech, but adequate. This is not for you if you’re expecting advanced functionality and apple watch advanced functions. Come on people, its $35. I’ve checked the heartrate monitor while spinning against a polar chest-HRM and it was 1:1, but i still use the polar when doing cardio. I hike frequently and steps and mileage have matched perfectly with posted trail distances. Watch can receive SMS and change tracks on Spotify. Those are the only phone connections i use besides the app. I am anti-tech during rest times so i do not want to receive calls or texts on my watch when i have quarantined my phone on airplane mode in my living rom to charge overnight. This watch is perfect for me and for people with similar preferences. It took me a few minutes to find the right app in the app store, and i downloaded the wrong one first- but the correct one is called “veryfit pro” with an orange icon. You MUST sync the watch MANUALLY at least every 7 days or you will lose representative activity data in your app graph. Once you have synced it it stays forever. This is the ONLY downside of the product IMO. However, if youre paying any attention at all this shouldn’t be a problem. This watch has solved all the complex issue of managing changing nutrition needs flexibly while maintaining fat loss on a cut when activity levels can be drastically different from day to day. Perfect for serious athletes, bodybuilders, or people pursuing fat loss, who also don’t want to spend $500 for a wrist cellphone. Highly recommend. ... show more

This Fitpolo IDW19 is and unbelievably complete package and a great deal. I had an earlier version of this that I liked, but this one is packed with features. All of the features I have utilized so far appear to work accurately and are very simple to use. The watch is loaded with help and medical/exercise information which was one of my criticisms in the earlier version. I has virtually everything my wife's much more expensive Fitbit has, and basic tracking of steps appears much more accurate than hers. Update II, 12/10/2022: Ooohh I fixed it! I check the permissions on the app. I had closed the app for a couple of days, and then my phone removed some key permissions Why? Because I had deliberately aet my phone to remove permissions if an app has been unused for a while. That setting is in Settings, Apps, VeryFitPro, Permissions, Remove Permissions if Unused and Free Up Space). Restoring certain permissions works. I restored Body Sensor, Nearby Devices, and Physical Activity. Not sure if all of these are necessary, but whatever, it works now. User error strikes again! :D ===================================== Update 12/10/2022: the watch suddenly decided not to connect to my phone anymore. Restarted phone a bunch of times, restarted Bluetooth, unpaired and repaired, nothing works. So, basically this device has gone from being a great, affordable alternative to shoddily constructed FitBits, which cost $100 - $200+ and then fall apart, to being a battery powered wrist pedometer with zero app functionality. If I want to log my fitness specs, pencil and paper it is. Oh well, it was a good 6 months while it lasted. Moral of the story: if you want a device to track your fitness, you're going to have to either buy a new one of these every 6 months, or shell out for an Apple Watch. ≈================================== The tabs that attach my Fitbit Charge 4 to its band broke off and the battery life went way downhill after only 10 months. I was reluctant to reward their shoddy quality by buying another, so bought this as a replacement at 1/3 the price. It works great! The display is large and bright, so I can easilysee it even in bright sun, and the battery hangs on for a good 10 days. For anyone migrating to this over from Fitbit, you should know that it doesn't count small steps you might make incidentally walking around a small space. It also doesn't seem to count vibrations in a car. Therefore, don't be surprised if you find the step count is lower than you are used to. However, if you walk steadily from one place to another, or working out, it is accurate. If your goal is 10,000 steps, you might have to add another 1 1/2 miles to your regimen. I think it's more on par with how Apple Watch counts steps. You're probably getting a more honest result with this one than with a Fitbit. ... show more

I thought this would be a good watch for walking around the block or to give my son when he goes to school or camp. Just interested in the steps/heart rate/distance and actual time part of the watch vs the messaging part. Watch won't even work going to the mailbox. Has to be like within a few feet of my phone to work. Obviously can't walk around the block or have son take to school or camp because my phone would have to be present. Was hoping to not have to lug my phone on walks to track my steps/distance. Was very disappointed in this because watch has such good reviews. Going to return. Guess it just depends how you plan on using it. ... show more
